What time does Writer's Stop close?

I am having a difficult time finding an official closing time for Writer's Stop in Hollywood Studios. I remember reading somewhere that they often close early maybe around 3 pm. Does this coffee shop/bakery have offical hours of operation, and do they tend to close early? A ballpark closing time would be extremely helpful to us when making our touring plan because I'd hate to miss out on a carrot cake cookie! (We weren't planning on tackling this side of the park until the afternoon.)

Also, does anyone know if they tend to run out of the carrot cake cookies later in the day?

I recall often stopping in there at 6pm or so, don't think you have to worry too much. If it's holiday time they might close early ahead of Osborne family lights, but I don't think you'll generally have to worry if you stop in and 3/4/5.

Starring Rolls closes around 3 PM or 4 PM, but I think Writer's Stop's hours are more in line with the park's hours.

The two times I stopped by in the late afternoon, they were sold out. But that was back in 2011 & 2012, so maybe they've adjusted supply.

Agree!! When we went last August I had my heart set on all kinds of great treats I saw on the boards, but we stopped in around 2 pm, and they were sold out of many. Ended up getting nothing, cause stuff left was not what I wanted. Wasn't looking for carrot cookie however, so don't know about that. But my advice---go as early as you can!!

Thanks for the replies everyone! You have all been extremely helpful. I just read that Sweet Spells also sells the carrot cake cookie now so hopefully one of the locations will have it if for some reason the other is sold out.

We have indeed gotten them at Sweet Spells (late at night), which can be a pretty convenient stop on the way out of the park at night.

FYI, if you have a Trader Joes, sometimes they carry these in the section with the cupcakes. I actually think the TJ ones are much better

Although, as everyone said, Writer's Stop is open late, they do run out of the carrot cake cookies. I've been shut out of my carrot cake cookie "fix" when going there around 6-7:00, and finding them sold out.
