What Time Does the Port Open?

Anyone know what time the port opens for cars this Saturday 1/3? We are taking a limo from WDW. We want to arrive when the Port opens.

How long of a drive from Animal Kingdom Lodge?

It used to open around 10:30. I don't know if they've adjusted that since they are boarding earlier, but probably not since they still have to clear out the disembarking passengers first.
It should take you less than an hour to get to the port.

everytime i go they let you in at 10:00 am and then the counters dont open until 10:30 am

They say that it opens at 10:30. As long as clearing the ship from the previous voyage (the US customs clearance) went smoothly, they start allowing vehicles in at 10:00. However...if the customs clearance was delayed (we had this happen on one of our 9 cruises so far), it means that the passengers from the previous cruise didn't get off the ship till "late" (like 9 am) and they may not be ready to allow cars in until a little after 10.

The point is that they don't want arriving passengers at the port until they are ready for us....usually 10, with counters opening at 10:30, but you can't be sure they will allow cars in until 10:30.

the port was open between 10:00-10:15 depending if everyone is off the ship.

Is that just for parking or can you actually check in at 10:30am? Joni

The check-in counters open at 10:30....but the mouse ears to the ship don't open for another hour or so.....
