What time does the parking lot open at each park?

I'm getting conflicting information about what time the parking lots open at each park. I was reading that Epcot's parking lot opens at 8:00am, but what if you have a breakfast reservation at Akershus for 8:00?

Then it's free to park there (if you aren't staying on site). We were Rope Droppers and have had many a day where no parking attendants were anywhere to be found. They don't have gates up at the parking entrance.

What Hatter is saying is the parking lots never close. They just charge you certain hours of the day. Drive right in if no one is on duty.
