What time does FP Wishes area open?

Our arrival day we are arriving late in the day to Magic Kingdom. So I decided to forego the idea of getting more than 3 fastpasses and decided to try out the fastpass for Wishes viewing. Typically, what time do CMs open this area for people with FP? I'm asking because we have 7:30 ressie at BOG and wondered when I needed to be heading to the FP area. We'll have time for both, right? Thanks for any info!

You didn't mention either the date, or the time of Wishes.

Oops, sorry. May 23rd; Disney website states Wishes will be at 10pm.

These things are being fine-tuned, but likely they will be sealing the areas (and admitting FP guests) sometime between 8:00 and 9:00PM.

The sidewalks will be packed with those awaiting the parade.

Maybe I should reconsider the FP. Just take a chance on getting a spot after the parade. We have another MK day planned anyways.

Everything is changing as these areas are so new, and they are trying to fine-tune the timing and assessing the number of guests who can fit comfortably (or, at least without knocking each other down) in the spaces.

That's true. I pick my fastpasses Monday night. I could get it and then figure out if I want to keep it as the trip gets closer.

I was there this past Saturday and had fp for Wishes. The fp time was between 9:30 and 9:55. ANd walked by the fp area at 8:40pm and there were already people inside so I asked a CM and he said that they were letting people in starting at 8pm, there was even a little sign about the fp location sign. This was at the east side. Not sure if they will continue this, but it seemed to me they were trying to not create a long line to check in so that the entire outside perimeter stayed empty and people could walk easier

When selecting a FP+ for Wishes, is there a different FP for each side? Or do you just get your FP & then decide that night which side you want to go to I'm wondering if they allow a certain # of FP's for each side, or just a certain # of total FP's for Wishes.

I did not have a choice between East or West. Just the one Wishes general option.

Not only that, but there appears to be no difference in signage at the areas, themselves.
I just started calling them "east" and "west" myself, because that's how I can differentiate them on a map.

I have to think that the CMs staffing the areas would tell later-arriving guests to "go to the other side" if there was more room in the opposite area.

One strategy is to follow the end of MSEP up Main Street to the Wishes area. I am not a big fan of using FP for either for various reasons, but I could see some of the appeal for the Wishes one at least. I don't think there's much "logistics" to consider if just watching MSEP from the parade route--watch MSEP, go to Wishes FP afterwards.
