What time does DTD open?

The shops mainly. I'd like to go early in the day.

Also, on this day we will be doing morning EMHs at MK. Getting a bus from MK to DTD is just as good as from one of the hotels on the monorail right?

Last September, the stores opened at 10 or 11 am. We went for breakfast then had to wait until the other stores opened. Also, I do not think you can get a bus from the MK to DTD, need to go thru a resort.

The buses to DTD only pick up at resorts. Take a monorail ride or stroll over to the Contemporary resort to catch the bus. Not sure about the opening hours, so I can't help you with that. Have fun!!!

Everyone was correct so far. The stores at Downtown Disney open at either 9:30 or 10:00 depending on the store itself.

There are no buses directly to DTD from the Magic Kingdom so the walk to the Contemporary is your best option.
