We have an ADR for 11:00 am for lunch at SciFi dine in theater. What time do you think we would be done eating. (we are fast eaters and probably would have the burgers and fries)

We've given Sci-Fi a try several times, and it has always been one of the slowest meals at WDW. We had an 11:15 ish ressie for lunch, were seated about 30 minutes later, slow service all around, finally got out around 2:15. This was the worst, but it's always been slow.

Wow. We've always been seated within 5 minutes of our time and have had great service. We usually spend no more than an hour there.

The food was good but it took forever!!! We've done a lunch and a dinner and lunch (fastest) took over an hour and a half. I felt trapped in Purgatory last year at dinner. Ressies at 7, arrived at 6:45 and left at 8:40. We ate fast but it was so sloooowww....seating, getting food, etc.

Trapped in Purgatory! I love this description of Sci-Fi! We've giving it the benefit of the doubt too many times and won't be going back. When you watch the same stupid film reel 3 or 4 times over and over and over you know you've wasted too much of your day. The last time we went my dd was 3, so we were seated in a car. DH sat in the back and dd and I in the front. She was so bored she fell asleep and DH and I couldn't even hold a conversation with each other because of the seating arrangements.

wow, I thank you for your responses. I think maybe this is one restaurant then that we will save for another time. I don't want to spend too much time at the restaurant, and I already have an ADR for the evening. Counter service for lunch then...!
