What time do you eat your meals?

Breakfast about 8.30am
Lunch 1.30 ish
SnacK 4.00pm (fruit)
Dinner 7.30 or 8.00pm (depends on when hubby gets home)
 
It really depends on if I am at work or not and what shift I am on. On days off breakfast about 8 lunch at 1pm and dinner at 8pm Day shift breakfast about 5.30am lunch about 1pm and dinner at 7.30pm. Night shift dinner at 4.30 pm lunch meal at about 1 am and 8am a "breakfast" before I go to bed.
 
my doctor is a dis-er..........who knew?:rotfl2:..........seriously, i know. and sometimes i bring a sugar free pudding or something for around 11 am.............i know thats not enough.........but if i do to many calories during the day i end up going over the 1000 at nite. i am losing about 3 lbs. a week................

The issue is, then, you should not be eating 1000 calories in one meal. That is too little for one day (for people in general), but too much for one meal. You are messing with your metabolism.

I don't eat breakfast everyday, which is something I'm working on getting better at.
I have lunch anywhere between 12-2 and dinner anywhere between 6-7:30.
 

Breakfast: As soon as I get up (I am starving lately) Dh doesn't eat much but eats cereal later in the AM. DS eats with me so around 8:00AM.

Lunch: 12Noon for DS and I. DH usually around 1pm.

Snack: 4:00PM

Dinner: 6-6:30PM

Desert Snack: 7:30-8PM

Growing up, at least in the later years that I remember, we ate dinner around 7-7:30PM and that's just too late for me. For the last few years DH worked until 6:30-7PM so we didn't eat until about 7:45PM which was too late too ... DS ate at 5pm then. Now that DH works out of the house we are finding 6PM to be our perfect time. Speaking of which, need to get DS up from nap (yes, it's late:scared1:) and get going on dinner!
 
Breakfast usually around 9 or 10, like C.Ann I have issues with food if it's before 9 in the morning. My breakfast is usually yogurt or fruit, unless someone at work has brought in donuts or bagels, then I usually have one of those. Lunch is around 1, lately it's been Lean Cuisine, today it was a cheese filled ravioli w/cheese spread and whole wheat crackers with 1 Pnut butter cup for dessert. LOL Dinner is when I get around to it, after work I'm still very busy, as a result dinner is normally somewhere after 7 and before 8. The girls have a snack when we get home if they need it but I'm usually OK. I try to eat lunch as my big meal of the day but I'm also trying to cut back on eating out and I'm eating less so Lean Cuisine's this week, until Friday which is our company Xmas Party, at that I'll be eating chicken, beef, pasta, salad and whatever else they serve. :)

Snacks are usually not eaten, but if I have them they tend to be at 11:30 am, 3 pm, and then sometime after dinner.

im eating on slightly more than 1000 calories a day-maybe 1200 spread out like this.

Nope, not a Dr, just someone who has lost over 110lbs (eating 4-5 times a day) and has half a brain to know that eating only 1 meal a day isn't good for you. Sorry I tried to help.
OMG........what is with you..........it was a joke..........as in, thats exactly what my doctor tells me....... the joke was how the heck did he get to me on here.............jeez..............didnt you see the little guy lying on his back laughing.............thats what they are for...........i am going every 30 days just for a weight check.......i was not attacking anybody............and how did you know i dont even have half a brain.....who told you about THAT??????:laughing: i've been gettin by for years on that since the accident.
 
Depends on the day:

Mon and Wed:
Breakfast between 7:30 and 8:15
snack at about 11:00
lunch when i get home from class at about 3:00
dinner about 7:00
snack sometime between 9 and 11PM

Tues and Thurs:
Breakfast at about 10:00AM (i have class at 8 AM...too early to eat breakfast before)
Lunch at about 2:00
Dinner around 7:00
Snack again between 9 and 11

Weekends
breakfast- sometimes never...depends on whether i sleep until noon...lol
lunch usually around noon or 1PM
snack
dinner about 7PM
snack again before bed

My problem is that I dont eat very much at any meals. Breakfast is usually half a bowl of cereal, snacks are usually half an apple or some berries, lunches are half a snadwich and some veggies and dinner is usually a piece of meat/fish and some veggies.
The goal that all of my doctors have agreed on for me is that i need to be trying for at least 1300 calories a day....some days thats easy but there are days that I have trouble eating more than 1000 calories a day. Im on 3 different meds that can suppress my appetite so if I dont remind myself to eat, I can go all day without eating becasue i dont feel hungry adn i dont rememebr that i havent eaten until i get a massive headache
 
Breakfast- 7 am (on the way to school)
Lunch- 11 am (it's when the kids eat!)
Dinner...anywhere from 5-7 pm, depending on the day
Usually a snack at night. :thumbsup2 Many times I eat dinner earlier, so the snack is usually not too late.
 
No set time for any of that for us- I eat breakfast sometimes, sometimes not-I hate breakfast. Lunch is anywhere from 11-2 and dinner is sometime between 4-9 depending on what we have going that day. On the weekends we don't eat lunch, we will have an early dinner like 3pm out someplace and just have a snack before bed. We don't have a lot of set rules about things-we take them as they come.

Lunch Noon
Snack 3 pm
Dinner 6 pm
Snack (for DD only) 8 pm

Pretty rigid and traditional:rotfl2: I prefer my afternoon snack to be wine followed by a 7 pm dinner (and more wine) but that only happens occasionally, lol
 
The only meal we have a fairly "regular" time for is dinner. Usually around 6:00, give or take half an hour sometimes.

Lunch, if DH is home I try to make sure he has it around noon.

Breakfast is whenever we're hungry. We don't use an alarm clock anymore so we get up anywhere from 5:30 - 7:30. DH usually has a breakfast bar or bagel with his coffee. I usually just have coffee, as I'm not at all hungry when I first get up.

Since I'm diabetic I eat several small meals throughout the day. Sometimes it's just a cut-up apple or pear, sometimes soup, crackers and cheese, veggies, etc. No set time for any of them.
