We will be visiting the parks in early November. I would like to know what time can I enter the parking lot to park, and what time can I get into the park?

I would like to be there as soon as possible. Is there a certain area in the park you will have to wait? A rope drop?

Also, I take it that the machine to print out tickets is right inside the park entrance? I will be getting the 5 day $89.00 tickets.

Thanks for any help!

The machines to get your tickets are located right before the turnstiles at both parks. At IOA it is in front of you as you get over the other side of the bridge. You'll see a bunch of ticket counters and there are some machines to your left. I do not remember for Universal Studios, since I didn't use them there (my parents did).

Also, I would recommend trying to get to the park 30 minutes early. They sometimes let you in this early...in the park itself!!! I remember going in Universal Studios at 8:45 when the opening time was 9:00AM. I believe the parks open at 10:00AM in November, but I could be wrong. You'll have to check the hours on the Universal Studios website. But shoot for getting to the parking garage about 30-45 minutes prior to the official opening of the parks.

I do not believe you will have to wait to enter the park, but if you do, people just line up at the turnstiles. Once you are in the park, however, you are usually free to go...though may have to wait a few minutes for the rides to open (but this wasn't the case when I went on MIB early).

HTH!!

that the parks sometimes open earlier than posted time. You should be at the parking garage at least 1/2 before opening so you can be one of the first ones in the park!

Here's the link to the hours:

It looks like IOA will be open at 10:00 and Universal at 9:30 for most of the early part of the month but they do change around Thanksgiving and open earlier.

Have the car parked and be at the gate at least 20 minutes early. Everytime we have gone, the parks have opened 15 or more minutes early. We had already ridden Hulk twice before the official opening time at IOA. Then headed over to Spider and hit it twice. This was over the Labor Day weekend (last week).

Great! Thanks for the help and information! I will make sure we are at the parks as soon as possible.

Once again, thanks for taking the time to respond!
