What time do the DCL busses leave the airport? I called DCL & they said the first one leaves at 10:30am. However, I remember on our last cruise (2000) they told me the same thing but the busses were actually leaving much earlier! Does anyone know the real story? I would just like to get to the port as quick as possible. Can't wait...

On our cruise in 2001, we were told to be in the Hyatt lobby between 9 and 10:30AM. We got there at 9:20 and got the last tickets for the first bus. It really started getting crowded after 9:30. I would get there at 9 at the latest so that you can get the first bus tickets. They put us on the bus just before 10 and we were about 7th in line at the terminal.

How many buses are there, and how often do they run? Our flight is due in MCO at 9:15am, we are flying in on Spirit Airlines.

The buses from the airport ran about 10-15 minutes apart. They can't run too frequently or they get backed up at the cruise terminal. They are also coming from the WDW Resorts, but they tend to head to the port after 11 AM or so. If you are flying in on cruise day, you will be met as you get off the plane and led to a bus.

Hi,

I've taken the Disney Cruise twice. The first time, I used the shuttle and the 2nd time, I hired Happy Limo. I would recommend Happy Limo in a heartbeat. I stayed at the Amerisuites by the airport and Happy Limo picked up our party of 10 at the hotel, so we didn't have to get ourselves back to the airport in the morning. They picked us up on time in a 10 passenger van and they only charged us $195.00 + 20% tip for a total of $234.00. That comes to $23.40 per person compared to the $49.00 per person that Disney charges. When I took the shuttle, I sat on the bus for over half an hour waiting for them to fill the bus before leaving for Port. This time, we were at the Port 45 minutes after the van picked us up. They also have Town Cars and Limos for smaller parties. Check them out at "www.happylimo.com" and be sure to use the on-line coupon. I've also heard of a company called Tiffany Limo. It pays to browse the disboards. Good Luck!
