What time do counter service places close?

Does anyone know?

Like Rancho, Hungry Bear, Redd Rocket's Pizza Port, etc..?

I know we've tried to eat at them when they were closed, but I don't remember what time it was? I want to say 8 or 9, but I'm not too sure..

Any help would be great. We tend to eat late and we don't want to end up starving. TIA!!

I remember several times we were trekkin' around the whole dang park trying to find an open CS!! It was dark out, but it couldn't have been any later than 9ish...

One night E got hungry fairly late, and needed (yes, needed, LOL) mac and cheese. We got to, hmm, French Market?...as soon as I could, b/c I knew they had it, but they had *just* closed. We held him over until we were done (hubby was on HM and I needed, yes needed, my coffee to be bought in a reuseable Minnie mug) and just went to Millie's. They were open, they had very very good mac and cheese with garlic bread and a salad, and it did the job better than any old French Market could have done. Harumph.


First "dream" by a fellow guest (only fellow guest dream, possibly) was during our first trip as adults, Sept '05. Brother and SIL were there and it was late. As we walked up to Redd Rockett's they closed and locked the doors. Oh we were devastated! So hungry. A family sitting right there saw our dilemma and told us they had ordered *an extra* WHOLE pizza, but they couldn't eat it, and would we like it. And it was a cheese pizza! They hadn't even touched it. Now, my brother and SIL are not used to handouts...SIL's *bonus* as a 5th year associate at a big 'ol law firm is almost as much as my hubby brings home in a year...but it didn't take them long at all to say "yes please". It was fabulous.

Hasn't happened since, though!

But really, Millie's was good.

For Disneyland Park, it depends on when Park Closing is. Generally, restaurants begin to close two hours before the Park on nights when DL Park is open late (ex: on nights when the Park closes at 12:00 a.m., begin to see restaurants closing at 10:00 p.m.), and one hour before Park Closing on nights when DL Park closes early (ex: if the park closes at 8:00 p.m., begin to see restaurants closing at 7:00 p.m.).

However, as a rule of thumb, Tomorrowland Terrace, Golden Horseshoe, and Royal Street Veranda will be open until DL Park Closing; and the Main Street Restaurants, with the exception of Plaza Inn, will be open until 30 minutes after DL Park Closing.

At DCA, many restaurants will stay open until Park Closing, with Bakers Field Bakery and Bur-r-r Bank Ice Cream staying open until 30 minutes after DCA Park Closing. The main exceptions to this rule are Pizza Oom Mow Mow and some of the small Counter Service windows (like Rita's Baja Blenders in the Pacific Wharf area)

If you need to know what time a certain restaurant closes on a certain date, you can always call ahead to the DLR. Or if you're in the park, just ask any CM, if they don't know, they should be able to find out.

We go off-season mid-week, but the Hungry Bear seemed to close really early every day.

We were also planning on eating at Hungry Bear while F! is going on since we've seen F! 1209472 times and we want to watch it from the side of the island to see the CMs get on/off the boats etc...

I'm going to ask way ahead of time when we get there what time they close so we're not disappointed or starving, or both..

The hungry bear closes early during the week in the off season But now I think it's 2 hours before the park closes.
