What time do check in desks open?

This year for the first time we are on the 2pm VA flight out of Manchester and was wondering if anyone knows when we will be abe to check in?

I know they suggest 3 hours prior but for all previous flights check in has been open well before!

Do you think they'll be open at 10am?

Almost certainly yes but keep in mind that if there is a line, they will prioritise people with earlier flights so arriving early can often be rather pointless as you'll just keep getting bumped to the back of the line.

I also wonder why you'd want to spend four hours at the airport?

Most VA desks are open from 4 hours before the first flight of the day, and you can check in pretty much anytime on the day of travel for the most part. They recommend 3 hours to allow time to get through security and spend your holiday money early in duty free

I think so. The previous flight is 11am so the desks will be shutting around that time for that flight. We checked in nearly four hours before for the 11am flight three weeks ago

Were staying at the Radisson the night before and I would like to have checked in before 10.30am so we could pop back to the hotel for breakfast (breakfast closes @ 11am) and maybe a dip in the pool
