...show up before the main event??? How long did they stay???
I'm trying to figure out what time Misty should get to the hotel room...we are doing a first look...thinking about trying to get family photos out of the way then too...I want sunset pics after the wedding (5 PM wedding)...then dinner and fireworks after...
Working on a timeline...but this isn't as easy as I thought it would be...
Any insight???

I think they showed up an hour-and-a-half before the ceremony, my "ready by" time for makeup was an hour before ceremony. That gave us plenty of time for pictures before, but we didn't have to travel far from the hotel either. They stuck around until just after dinner and cake, when we had our first dance. There wasn't going to be much to take pictures of after that point (not a dancing group of guests), so I didn't keep them any longer.

my photographer showed up to my hotel room at 12:30 pm (we had a 2:30 pm ceremony). This gave him enough time to take pictures of me getting ready, take my accessories and dress to get pictures of them, and pictures of me getting dressed. Then he headed to the Wedding Pavilion to get pictures of the location and guys/guests there already.

Randy got to my room at 10am for my 12pm ceremony. He got the dress, accessories, and getting ready pics very quickly and then was down to take danny's pictures at the boardwalk by 10:40.

We had him stay just until Mickey came out so every guest could get pictures with him and then at about 4:30 he left. The last hour and a half was just dancing and drinking so no pics were needed of that lol.

So he was there about 6.5 hours total then???

Yes, I had him booked for 6 hours and I paid for 6 hours. He was very nice to stay the extra half hour.

We cut the cake right after lunch and then brought out Mickey a bit after that because we were limited on time with Randy. My planner knew this and came to me before our entrance to go over the timeline to make sure it fit Randy's timeline.

Did you tell Randy what time you wanted him to get there or did you just tell him the ceremony time and he turned up 2 hours before? Haven't discussed this with him.

Thanks for posting the question.

We're getting married at noon and Vicki/David are showing up at at 10. We were told to have my hair/makeup done first (we're starting at 8am). From 10 on, Vicki will be with the girls and David will be with the guys until we all meet.

I sent him the timeline that my planner had discussed with me at the planning session. He sent me his ideas on it and we settled on his arrival time.
