I had been thinking that I would like us to get married at 2.30 but have been thinking about it recently and think I might prefer 12.00 just to give us that little extra time for photos and 'things'.:drinking: :drinking1 hee hee

We hope to get married at the WP and I know they say the ceremony there last about 1 and 1/2 hours and then there is the cake cutting thing, I don't know how long that takes? and we want to eat at narcossees and I think I read somewhere that they only seat large parties about 5 o'clockish so I just figured the 12.00 slot would mean less rushing around. Also getting married in Nov so not too worried about the weather or anything, so long as it looks a bit sunny:beach: - dont want my pics done in the rain I could have that in scotland every day of the year.:rotfl2:

So just to be nosey really I was just wondering what time others had/will have and for what reasons?

we are due to get our times confirmed in 6 weeks but we wanted the half two time so that we would not have any breaks as we are having a custom wedding and a dessert party but when I think of it I then think shall we go for the midday time slot and then that gives us a couple of extra hours for photos and stuff!

Oh we want the pavillion

My wedding is actually at 11:30, but noon was the closest. I don't think Disneyland does noon weddings, I think they all start at 11:30 and then at 2 I chose the middle of the day so we can have a lunch reception and by-pass dancing. I am not a big girl for dancing, and since my dad passed, we decided it would take one less strain over not having him there. Instead of dancing, we are inviting our guests into the park, where our photgrapher will be joining us to take several family shots. Having an early wedding leaves lots of time in the park with my family and friends.

We did the latest WP time slot 7pm...
worked great for us as we wanted the 9pm illuminations as our cocktail hour...then had the reception at AA after...

We chose to have the wedding at noon.I am not patient so there is no way I could wait all day lol.

We had our ceremony at 10 am b/c I'm a morning person and mostly b/c we got married at SBP in June. It would have been way hotter if we waited any longer ;)

We got married at 1pm in November (the 14th). We chose 1pm because im not a morning person at all... plus we kind of scheduled it around food-- i didnt want it too early because then I would have to wake up really early and get ready- haha and not get breakfast... so i had plenty enough time to eat breakfast, get ready, then we had the ceremony-- afterward i knew we would be having hours worth of photography-- so we finished up with everything about 3:30 and then headed to the hotel to change. That gave us a window to have some fun in the parks before we went out to eat that night for our "reception".... :goodvibes

We originally went for the 7:30p.m., but changed it to 5. We wanted a served dinner, and to end the night with illuminations.

We are hoping for 2.30. We are hoping that this will mean no breaks during our wedding day as we want to have a meal and a dessert party. I also want to be in my wedding dress for as long as possible but we felt that 12 was just a little to early.

We aren't getting married at disney, but back home, we are having our ceremony at 4:30 immediately followed by a cocktail hour for our guests on the mezzanine while we have our pictures completed, then at 6:30 everyone will head into the ballroom for dinner, dancing, etc. We are marrying on a Saturday evening for several reasons, but mostly convenience for our guests, both DF and My families are from out of town, we didn't want anyone to not be able to come due to inability to get time off of work, while we'd like them at the rehearsal dinner friday night, we understand if its not possible, and an evening wedding gives them a chance to travel saturday morning if necessary. Then the following Monday Morning Disney here we come!

We went with the 10am time slot since we are doing our MK photos the morning of the wedding.

We figured since we'd be up and at em' around 4am there was no point is putting it off til later.

Originally we were going to be at 9am at Sunset Pointe. I was surprised DH agreed to that time 'cause he is NOT a morning person.

But, due to some changes we were married at 11am at Sea Breeze Point. Our wedding was in mid-September and I knew it would be too hot and humid in the afternoon at an outdoor location.

Well, we didn't get married at Disney either, but we were married at 5:13 pm. When we sent the invitations, so many people thought it was a typo, that we meant 5:30 but they still showed up on time for the 5:13 wedding. At the reception, everyone asked why 5:13. I wanted a weird time because people are more likely to show up on time if it's an odd time. If you say 5:00 people will show up a few minutes late, but with a time like 5:13 they're going to make it a point to be on time. Also, DH proposed on May 13 so it kinda fit in there. I wanted a sit down dinner at my reception so 5:13 was a good time to start the wedding and still be able to feed everyone dinner!

We are going with 10:00am, because I am not patient at all. I knew I would be going nuts waiting. Plus we both are up early and well it just works better. And the wedding is in May, so it will be hot and the morning is a bit cooler for outdoor photos.

I'm getting married at noon. Mostly the idea was to save money. I plan on taking my wedding party into the parks after the receptions for pictures!

We are getting married at 2:30pm on January 3rd at Sunset Point. I picked that time, because much like Maggie, I wanted to have time to get up and eat in the morning, and then make it to dinner in the evening for our little reception.

We are getting married at noon. Basically it's because we changed our location 4 times & when I wanted to change it back to WP noon & 7pm were the only times left.
I like noon though because it gives us a break in between the reception & the desert party so we don't have to rush to get all our pics done & by the time we get to our desert party people will have room to eat again!

We are getting married on the Grand Floridian beach at 2:30...we are also having our reception outdoors at the GF that evening, and we chose a 230 ceremony time so that the sun would set in the middle of the reception :thumbsup2

we chose 2:30 mainly because the 5pm slot was already taken! but i think 2:30 works out better in the end because we can get lots of pics in the daylight, but then the sun will probably set during dinner. And, since there aren't any window coverings in the Atlantic Dance Hall, when the sun goes down, it'll set the mood for dancing :dance3:

2:30. It works really well for us. We get to sleep in, have plenty of time to get ready, dinner will be right after our cake reception and the wishes cruise is right after dinner. It was perfect!
