DH and I got up at 8:30
Youngest DS (16) got up at 9:00, followed by 18 yr old DS.
We had to call and get oldest DS (25) out of bed at 10:30 so he could come over and open gifts with his brothers.

Ahhh.......the days of getting up (with the boys) at 5:00 AM are SO over!! :cheer2:

I finished wrapping at 1:30 a.m., and finally fell asleep at about 2 a.m.

At *2:30* a.m. I found my 9 y/o sneaking around the house! Scared the poo outta me! Got him back into bed, and was able to sleep until 6:30. The kids, however, were up at 5 a.m.. LOL, I remember being that age. . . :flower:

DD (2 1/2) had a bad dream - 5:30 am. When I went to check on her, DS (5) woke up. They both ended up in our bed. Not much sleeping as I was falling off my side of the bed...... I gave up at 7:15 and announced it was Christmas morning!

DD is now napping - Praise Be!!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

:)

The kids can open the stuff in their stockings any time they want, but can't come and get us until 7:00. They were opening the things in their stockings at 4:30.

I woke up around 7:45 and came out to the kitchen to putter a bit. DH woke up around 8:30 and joined me. We woke DS up around 10:00 and unwrapped our gifts. Now DH is watching something midnless on TV, I'm surfing and having a cip of tea, and DS is playing PS-2 online with some of his buddies.

DHand I woke up just before 7am. My oldest woke up about 9am as DH and I were leaving for church ( was interpeting the service this morning). Youngest is still asleep at 12:45pm.

Finished wrapping around 2:00, final cleaning at 3:00 DD up at 5:15.

I went to bed at 3:30am and was up by 4:15am to go to work. I am so tired and still have a lot of Christmas left after work.

My brother woke up at like 8 and came in to wake me up. I am NOT a morning person so I yelled at him to get out of my room and leave me alone. I got up and went out into the living room. My mom had the idea to wait until everyone got here this afternoon to open our gifts. My brother hated the idea, but I was like OK, I can go back to sleep. Needless to say we didn't wait, we had to open them right then.

Went to bed at 10 pm... ds woke up at 2:00 (he had said if he woke up a minute after midnight he was opening presents, so I lied to him and told him it was 11:00 pm) but he went back to sleep until 4:50 and we opened presents at about 6:00, when my mother got here!

We were awakened shortly before 6:00 am by a 12 lb. "THUD" against the bedroom door - shortly followed by 8 little kitty feet climbing over us.

Millie finally succeeded in getting enough height & leverage to open the latch doorknob. :rotfl2:

Heaven help us if she learns to open the refrigerator...

11:30am. :teeth: Only my best friend and I, so no need to wake up early!

Of course I had been up until 5am talking to my boyfriend the night before...so I was still a little sleepy. :)

DS woke me up at 1 a.m. to wish me happy birthday :goodvibes . I went back to sleep until 5 a.m. when DH & I had to get up and make sure Santa got everything out. DS got up at 6:30.

Went to bed just before 4:00am and was awoken by the twelve year old at 5:40. By six the coffee was on and he forced his sister and father to wake up. At ten, it was naptime!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Santa stopped by our house a little early last night, so I was in bed by 11:00. I woke up at 2, 3:30 and 5, before finally waking up for good at 6:30. Who's the kid here?!! I woke my girls up at 6:50am - the youngest had been up since 6 waiting for me to call them down. We opened gifts and had breakfast, then they went over to their dad's about 10, opened more gifts, had another breakfast, and were home by 12:30. Now everyone is playing with new stuff, and this afternoon we'll cook a Christmas dinner.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

DD (9) was in our room at 4:30am and then again at 5:56am. This wasn't too bad, other than DW and I were up getting ready for Santa's arrival until about 2am. Yawn!!!!!!!!! :earboy2:

I had 3 children knocking on my bedroom door at 4:00 am! I promptly sent them back to bed. They woke up again around 7:00.
