What time character breakfast to be at MK opening?

Hi!
What time should we book a character breakfast (1900 Park Fare, Ohana or Chef Mickey's) to have enough time to eat and be at MK when it first opens?

We are staying at GF, our kids will be 3 and 5 and we will probably eat at 1900 Park Fare..

you would have to take the earliest ressie possible. We had reservations at Ohana at 7:30 and were seated within 5 minutes. We barely made it to rope drop at MK. We also had reservations at Chef Mickey at 7:30 and arrived a few minutes before rope drop. It all depends on the service that morning, how fast the caracters are and if you want to see them all and how quickly you eat. I was travelling with my 4 yo DDs and they were slow eaters. Also, request the bill as soon as you get your drinks. Like that you won't have to wait forever for them to bring it to you at the end of your meal.

We ate in MK at Crystal Palace at 8:15 and missing the opening somehow. We did make it out about 10 minutes after 9. So, I would say 7:30 or earlier, if you can.

We had 8am reservations at Crystal palace and missed rope drop as well. It was neat being in the park before it opened, but I wouldn't count on making rope drop unless you:
- don't care about missing characters
- eat fast
- ask for your bill early
