Just wondered, after another thread about last day in Florida, what time people get to the airport on the last day.

Our flight this year is 7.50 p.m. so looking to get to the airport no earlier than 5.00 p.m. and will drop off bags at the airport not DTD

That's about what we would do, just gives you a little time to sort any problems with returning the car, try do online check in though as that saves a lot of time. We dropped relatives off after doing online checkin, they went straight to bag drop and done in a few mins, the regular line was long, longer than I had seen for a while.
We did DTD checkin this time as we were flying PE, regular line there was crazy also, at least an hour, we were there 15 mins and it hardly moved.

Hi Wayne, yes I am definitely going to do online check in this time as last year was not good when we got to the airport. thanks for the heads up on that

can you do online check in, if you don't have a printer?

Yes, no problem doing OLCI, only thing you can't do is print boarding passes. When you get to the airport you bypass the long line go straight to bag drop and they print the boarding passes for you there. On a quiet day it might only save 10 mins on a busy day it can save over a hour.

i thought that might be the case, but i chickened out and didn't do the online check in....
next time..

We have done OLCI twice now on our last day and still ended up in a HUGE queue at MCO :sad2:
