What time and what gate for EMM

We are going to EMM on August 8. We are staying at Contemporary. I know we can walk over to the MK. What time should we arrive and is there a certain gate to go to in case others are lined up to get in when park opens at regular time.

You'll go to the specially marked gate for early ADR and for EMM. There'll just be 1

Plan about 30 min to walk over and get checked in, so work backwards from the time you want to arrive. We arrived about 30 min before it started, and that was plenty. Otherwise, you're just standing around waiting during time you could otherwise be sleeping

the entrance is on the left hand side ( or this is where it has been for a number of years, ). I have not done this party but when I went for a tour they were giving people that were doing the EMM wrist bands ( not sure if they are still doing this) but I would show up at lest 20 minutes before it starts.

We went twice last week - and yes, this is all still correct. The entrance will be on the far left side - look for a Castmember holding a sign that says, "Tours & Reservations." At some point, a Castmember will come through the line & scan your Magic Band to insure that you do, indeed, have tickets for EMM. Once they confirm it, they will put a wristband on you & everyone in your party.

For both parties last week, they let us through at exactly 7:45 a.m.

Enjoy & have fun - we certainly did! In fact, we were the first ones on Seven Dwarves Mine Train, and they sent us off with just the two of us in the front row. It's a pretty amazing video to see Daughter and I have an entire roller coaster to ourselves!!!

I've done EMM twice now.... Might be too close for some folks but I try to make it so I'm getting there 7:30-7:35ish, especially if I'm coming from somewhere like CR where I can pretty much control my arrival time exactly. Any earlier to me is overkill as there's no real advantage to it - unless you just absolutely want to be the first one walking in.

It can be surprisingly warm sitting there out front if you're in a spot with no shade and the sun is out, even that early.

I would shoot for 7:15 give or take a few minutes. Entrance is to the far left. Have fun!
