Hi everyone, I am travelling from ireland to orlando with my wife and 3 children for our first florida trip, we are staying at the embassy suites resort on international drive for 14 nights and really looking forward to it, we want to make five or six visits to wdw during the two weeks and have the freedom to come and go as we wish,
What do you think is my best ticket option and should i purchase my tickets online through wdw or some other agent, or should i wait untill i get there,
all your advice is appriciated

If I was you I would buy a seasonal pass. Because you are going for so long that might be the best, the price might seem high but it pays for itself. And because its seasonal you might wanna check the blockout dates. And if there are dates blocked out when your going then you need to get a annual. Which will cost more.
I really hope that helps

We opted for a five (or six) day park hopper that expires. It ended up being the cheapest for us, and I would buy them from home as UK has some pretty good deals, better than Americans can get. Then get Uniersal multi-day park hoppers too. You'll have lot of fun.

Only a Florida resident can buy a seasonal pass.

OP - you could buy an Annual Pass but with the new "magic your way" tickets and your example of 6-7 days at the parks that will be the best option. Honestly there are so many ticket options now its difficult to "recommend" something. Without sounding harsh you really have to research yourself depending on if you want to park hop, number of days and ages of the people in the party.

This link has a great ticket explanation and comparison page - its a good start:
