Hi, looking for some info on what tickets to purchase.
there is me ,dw and dd 10 so would be 3 adult tickets, was considering buying 1 annual pass and 2, 4 park flexi tickets, we will be visiting SW for the day, so would have to buy 1 ticket for SW. we are staying on site at RPR for 1 week so would this be the way to go especially with the discounts you recieve with the AP, or just buy 3, 4 park flexi tickets, any advice would be gratefully appreciated

For the price of the AP, if you can manage another trip before it would expire, I would go with the AP for all of you. It is under $200 for both parks. If you go thru AAA it is even cheaper (I think).

We do the Preferred Annual Pass for all four. The initial cost may seem a little high, but the discounts offset the difference to the regular tickets very quickly, and the renewal is only $99/year, which is a big bargain. Also, the PAP discount rates for rooms at the resorts can save the entire cost of the PAP if you are going for a long stay.

I would get one preferred annual pass card and the others the cheaper annual pass as long as you aren't going during the blackout dates. If you aren't going for a while I would wait to see if they have any promotions coming out, you never know!

You can get discounts with the preferred annual pass, but for similar discounts you cna use a AAA card.

Another vote for the APs - great value for money.

we will be there 28th june to 5th july 06, so cheaper aps with the blackout dates are not an option, maybe wait to see if any deals come up, in the meant time will keep watching, still considering 1 AP, thinking about the discounts on items of merchandise and meals i will be buying ,guess i will have to do a bit of counting on what i would save with it.
cost of 3- 4 day flexi tickets approx $590 cost of 2- 4 day -flexi tickets and 1 AP plus 1 day Sea world ticket approx $628,
i reckon i would be better off with the 1 AP, although its $40 more i reckon i woud save that over the week on merchanise and meal discounts, so what you guys and girls think, oh and it says if you buy multi day tickets you can get 15% off, if this includes the 4 day flexi ticket i could wait till i arrive and buy them when i arrive , but not sure if this is right.Someone let me know.
thanks for the input and the invaluable information on planning my dream trip i recieve on this site

By the flex, do you mean the 4 park flex ticket? You posted several times calling it the 4 day flex ticket and the flex ticket is for 14 days.

I don't know think you can get an annual pass discount when you buy the flex-tickets as the revenue is shared between Sea World, Wet and Wild, Universal, and Busch Gardens. I'll send a message to someone that knows though and she can let you know for sure. But you can get discounts if you buy other multi-day Universal/IoA tickets.

yeah the 4 park flex ticket, sorry about that ,but you know what i meant.
thanks for that phantom, reckon i will definetly get 1 Ap for the discounts anyway as i reckon it will still save me a few dollars
