What Tickets Do I Need??

I hope someone can help. I am trying to plan a vacation for this October at the HRH Club Room. I purchased a Package last year since it was the first time I had ever visited Universal and it was easier this way. Being a vetern Disney traveler I know it is usually, if not always, cheaper if you make your own reservations. It is a bigger headache though! Anyway...we are spending 7 nights.What would be our best ticket option? I am considering the special the are having now for $89.95 - 5 cons. days, I figure the first day we arrive we can just relax around the pool and the last day we can shop at the outlet malls. It is a savings of over $800 verses the package deal. Should I but tickets now or does anyone think that a better deal will pop up before October? Thanks!

KimT, I went through the same thing as you about those $89 tickets. But last week I finally broke down and ordered them. I've been advised that I should not expect a better deal than this, and I didn't want to take any chances of losing out on this great deal. If I waited any longer, I was afraid the special price would be gone. We'll be there for 7 days and have decided to use the tickets for the first 5, since we'll be arriving early, like 9 in the morning. The last 2 days we'll spend at KSC and then at Sea World before leaving on a lets flight home.

The 5 day consecutive deal is a good deal but if you think you will make it back within the year, the Power Pass, which is only about $20 more, is a better deal. It would work for the dates you're going, also.

If not, I would jump on the 5 day deal now. Everyone seems to be raising prices in Orlando now so I don't doubt that this will be going up shortly.
