What things are to be missed while Resort Hopping?

Since we will have a car on this trip, we want to try visiting the resorts more. We have PS's at some but others we would just love to see for future planning. Are there any not to be missed things at specific resorts? Thanks for any ideas

Depends on what you are interested in. We enjoy walking around the Polynesian and just appreciating its tropical beauty! The Wilderness Lodge is great for the geyser and the hidden mickey hunt. Fort Wilderness has the hayrides, petting zoo and horses. You can also go to the campfire and watch the free Disney film. We will be visiting the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time this year to see the animals and maybe listen to the storytelling.

The CR has the best game room on property which our son likes.
You can also check out the marina and the stores on the 4th floor.

We love the Poly, have stayed there MANY times. If you're out at night the Electrical Water Pageant (EWP) goes by the beach/dock area at 9pm nightly. There's also a good view (with sound) of the MK fireworks from there. You can pick up drinks / snacks at Captain Cook's on the way out.

Hint: Park at one of the monorail resorts and use the monorail to visit all 3 resorts, plenty of time with a 3 hour parking pass.

Boardwalk (BW) - Must see, especially at night. More lively just before and after Epcot closing. Meals or snacks, great coffee booth,very good smoked ribs and brewery at Big River Grille, ESPN, Atlantic Dance, Jellyrolls, bakery, sweet shop, Surry bikes, entertainment on the boards and great view of Crescent Lake.
