My wife and I would like to go back to WDW, but are youngest will be about 9 months this summer. I would like to know if people usaully take kids at this age and if so was the experience good? Thanks for your help

We took both of our grandsons when they were 12 months old. They could toddle and liked to play. We had a grand time, although one of us had to stay with the baby for most rides. Also, we ate our at buffets only to avoid long waits at dinner. This May we are bringing our newest granbaby who will be the ripe old age of 15 months. We stay at the Beach Club where the awesome pool and sand are perfect for the little ones. Sandie

Our youngest made her first trip at three months. It was a very easy time to go as she did not do much complaining yet. Our last trip (Nov) was her third. It is always great and get better each time. She loved the colors and music. Plus she didn't need a ticket.

3 years old. Dh & I could not enjoy WDW with a baby. Thats us millions do it.

DD2 was 8 months (DD 1 was 4). We had a wonderful trip, took it easy with plenty of breaks but really enjoyed ourselves.

My DD was 7 months on her first trip to DL. It was a good trip. She was still nursing and eating a few solids, so feeding her was very easy. We took it very easy and had a great time.

DS was about 9months when we first took him. It was actually MUCH easier than I expected. He could go on SO many more rides than I thought he would be able too. He was so good the entire trip. Stayed in the stroller looked around, didn't ask for anything...went again last summer at 18months...that's ANOTHER story... :rotfl:

10 weeks

It was a last minute trip this past November and he was the easiest child out of all 6 with us on our trip (4 of ours 12, 11, 2 1/2, 10 weeks and 2 of my sisters- 4, 1). I wore him everywhere we went. He nursed everywhere in the parks and napped great in the stroller. He was a breeze! Now the 2 1/2 year old and the 12 year old were a different story!

We went when the kids were 10 months and almost 3. The 10 month old did much better than the 3yr old. We had a good time.

My son was 6 weeks (to Disneyland Paris) when he went the first time and has been back there about 7 to 10 times a year and 3 times to WDW. He is 6 now...

Every time it was magic!

When he was 6 weeks we where upgraded to a suite (I am sure he had something to do with it

When he was 4 we entered the Studios on a very slow day. Around 4-5 Mickey was alone wandering around the park. He took my son by the hand and they went of. I think he was with Mickey for 10 to 15 minutes.... All great memories I will never forget..

Every age has its special moments... So never make age the excuse not to go... ;)

I have taken kids at 18 Months, and a 3yrs and 9 yrs old and the next time at 13 months, 3yrs and 5 yrs and 11 yrs old And have tried taken them every other year and have never had any problems. they are now 8, 12,almost 14 and 20 yrs old. They are so good there. DS 9 months
DD 2&1/2 months

They have both been back many times since Last in Decmenber and next in April. They will be DS5 and DD4 at the time of our next trip.

The first trip to WDW was back in 2003. We celebrated our baby's 1 birthday there. He loved it! We rode pretty much all the main attractions at MK. Like Pirates, Dumbo, PeterPan we even did the Haunted Mansion together, he just sat on our laps and watched the lights! He had a blast at AK! And don't forget, the two of you could just switch off if you want to go on a ride that you know your baby can't go on. It's definetly doo-able! We are going again this year, and since our boys are tall at 4, Im sure he will be able to do alot more!

Thanks for the replies, we decided that we are going, seeing how we take it easy while we are there anyway. We usually do most shows and will just do the baby swap when needed. :cool1: Were going in early June and this will be our second trip. My wife and I have been hooked on Disney since our first trip last May. :sunny:
