What the scariest ride?????????

The ride was called "The Salt and Pepper" in Wildwood Boardwalk N.J., the chain came off the gears, and the fire depatment had to help us out of the ride. This was back in 1960, today's rides are designed much better.

Snow White in MK.

I haven't been on that ride since 1993. I am petrified of the witch

I'm a ride WHIMP! so, my scariest ride is Indiana Jones at Disneyland California! I really hate the constant jerking around and starting and stopping! it literally makes me sick to my stomach! my husband and kids LOVE IT though! Helen

I havn't been on that ride since about a year after it opened. When we first went on it was great because it really was comepletely dark, but then the next year i went on and they had all dumb black lights with neon stuff on the tracks....just not as fun. I havn't been on it since so I don't know what its like now.

At that same park they now have a ride called Kinda Ka, and all it is is one hill you go over and then do like 90degrees straight down, makes your stomach angry, lol

heres a cool video of it

This past summer I went back to Great Adventure(which is what it's name IS if you're from Jersey ;)) for the first time in 6 years with my friend and her step kids. I don't remember Skull Mountain having neon and stuff on it. My friend said if I liked Skull Mountain then I would like Space Mountain. Space Mountain had too many lights, I could see what was ahead, so that kind of spoiled it for me. I love the warp tunnel that kind of theming, it just wasn't what I expected.

We didn't have a chance to do Kingda Ka or El Toro with one of two kids *hating* rollar coasters, that didn't help. I wanted to try the Superman Ultimate Flight too. Going to Great Adventure isn't usually worth it to me it's a bit of a hike, expensive and I'd rather save it for Disney.

Thank you for the link to the video on youtube. Some of those shots are scarey!!!! :scared1: I wish I had gone on it!! :lmao:

I would have to say scariest depends upon how you feel a particular day and when you ride the ride, not to mention your state of mind when you get on.

I rode dinosaur one time and for some reason though I have rode before it was just over intense. I spent the entire ride practically in my DW's lap.

We also rode Big thunder mountain late in the evening. close to one AM on late night. It was the fastest I have ever seen that thing move. I am a lrge man and I spent most of the ride with my tush either hovering above the seat or mashed to one side or the other.

If you truly want to get on a scary ride try having a large sprite and a turkey leg then ride space mountain with a fast pass so you don't have to wait in line and let the food settle. :sad2: It's something you have to experiance to appreciate. :lmao:

Magnum XL at Cedar Point, I think that's what it's called, this was about 12 years ago or so and the drop was huge.

At Disney, I was really freaked out the first time I rode Alien Encounter.

KINGDA KA! The tallest, fastest roller coaster on earth. Straight up, striaght down. 128 mph. INSANE RIDE. Imagine TOT, and multiply how scary it is by 100. It is so intense. You feel like your body is going to implode itself. It is the craziest ride ever. RIDE IT!

Its at Great Adventure in NJ (same park as preiviously mentioned).

Our first ride on ToT. Not knowing what to expect next kept us on the edge of our seats!

Honestly the scariest attraction I've ever been on at WDW was Alien Encounter. I was 13 the first time I did it and it scared the bejeezus out of me. My brother was 10 at the time and my mom said that he was squeezing her hand so tight her fingers turned white.

The scariest ride I have ever been on was at a fair/carnival type thing that was set up in the parking lot of our local mall. I have no idea why I got on this thing. I don't usually have a fear of rides, I don't experience motion sickness, but considering the setup (this place was pretty rinky-dink), it would have been the perfect setting for a horrible accident.

Since it wasn't an actual theme or attraction park and I don't remember the name of the ride, I have used MS Paint to make an artist recreation.

Those pieces on the end. You sit there, four across, for a total of eight on each end. That whole big piece rotates around the center and then the rows of seats at the end rotate as well. It's kind of hard to explain, but it was incredibly frightening. This was in Pineville, NC which is very close to the NC/SC border, so I was sure that I was going to be flung into South Carolina at some point.

Scariest would be the Supreme Scream at Knott's
http://www.knotts.com/park/tour/brdwalk/sscream.shtml

You go up slowly over 250 feet and then they leave you up there for a while before you drop down at 50 mph. I'm afraid of heights and this didn't help. I did it once and I will never ever get back on that thing.

As for the wildest ride, that would be X at 6-flags Magic Mountain. That roller coaster alone is great, but add seats that independely rotate 360 degrees and you are in for the craziest ride of your life.

If the seats thing doesn't make sense, check out this diagram:

Imagine, for example, going into a loop looking forward, and coming out backwards, head down. Amazing.

oh my gosh. i love that ride. we have something JUST LIKE IT called the 'power tower' here in MN at valley fair. i was too chicken to go on it for the longest time, then this summer i did it so i knew if i could handle tower of terror... "my kind of disney training" and i LOVED IT.

not a big fan of dangling 250 + feet for approx 11 seconds before the drop.... but the rush was incredible.

oh yeah, and after going on tower of terror a couple weeks ago... HA. i was like "that's it???"... my dad was impressed with me lol.

oh yeah, and m scarriest WDW ride was probably RNRC... it was my 2nd favorite after EE... but the take off was Intense. after screaming frantically duing the takeoff i was like "woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and enjoying the ride.

Dinosaur was pretty freaky though. actually, im not sure that i can technically comment on it, considering my eyes were closed 99.99999% of the time. :rotfl:

I'm with you for RNRC -- the take off is crazy! It's pretty similar to California Screamin' at DCA--the musical build up and the LAUNCH!

I have to admit I've never ridden Dinosaur -- we've only been to WDW once since it was open and we left DAK early because I thought I was having heat stroke!!! (August!!) We're going back in 16 days  so I'll probably give it a try then.

Also have to say that my kids aren't thrill ride fanatics yet, so I haven't been to many amusement parks besides DLR and WDW to try some of the others mentioned...

One of the scariest rides for me is at a six flags park called "Great America" here in Northern California. It's called "Top Gun" based on the movie, and it's a coaster that leaves the rider's feet dangling free, while you sit straped into a small bicycle type of seat, that just barely holds you, with a harness around your shoulders. Oh! Having your feet dangle while you go up, and down, and upside down...all while hearing super loud Top Gun music, and the sounds of jets whooshing by your ears...Bahhhhhh!!!! And if you're wearing flip flops...you might never see them again!

At Disney, Dinosaur took me by surprise, and it made for a very funny picture of me ducking under the safety bar.
