What the heck does THIS mean?

I just got the most bizarre error message ever while shopping in the Emporium. I've never seen it before. Don't know what it means. But my entire VMK froze and I had to use CTRL-ALT-DEL to shut it down.

Anyone ever seen THIS before?

Out of memory loading member 15 of PLAYER-CAST 40, even after purging all purgeable castmembers.

Woot! You purged all purgeable castmembers! Welcome to the club! Heh, I've received this error message twice before -- had to close Internet Explorer, but never had to shut down my computer over it.

Yes, I used to get it all the time before I added more memory to my computer. I had to constantly do a disk cleanup to free up memory.

I've had that several times. I keep getting it if I ride the dark rides over and over again without cleaning out my temp files.

Usually, I only have to close out my browser and clean out my files and log back in again.

I've never had to shut down for that.

This error occurs when you are low on machine resources. Using my machine as an example, I am on a lap top that is 1.9ghz. VMK minimum is 1.5ghz. If I run two VMK windows and iTunes, my computer resource usage is at about 80%. VMK doesn't like that, no it doesn't!

Bottom line is you are doing too many things on your computer at once for VMK to be happy. Shut down whatever you can.

Dara is correct, as I too have had that message many times. However, you will still lose your VMK session if you get that message, regardless of shutting stuff down at that point.

This happened to me once before, but all I had to do was go to the refrigerator and get out some bacon. Bacon fixes everything...
