What the heck are they called?

remember in gym class half the kids had to wear cheap,,stinky pieces of fabric over their clothes while half the class didn’t while playing basketball, etc. so you could tell the different teams?what the heck were they called? I would like to order them for my sons nerf bday party

We used to have a set of them around here the boys used for pick up games. I wish I knew what I did with them so I could get rid of them......... I mean share them with you! I think we still have a full set of flag football belts here too. We'll probably keep those.

I just shuddered remembering how much I hated being on the skins team when I was a kid...and that was over 40 years ago. Almost as bad as public showers in the locker room.

In junior high every kid was supposed to get a reversible t-shirt in school colors. We had to buy them ourselves from one of several school uniform supply stores in our area. They mostly serviced private schools, but they did a brisk business in these shirts. Most of the major sporting apparel companies (Champion, Russell, Nike, UA, Adidas, etc.) have solid colored tanks that are reversible.

Agreed! I would much rather wear the nasty smelling pinnie than ever be in gym class in just my sports bra. We also didn't have gym uniforms, we just had to wear sneakers and athletic clothes.

Well - I do get that it could be an issue with body shaming for certain girls. But these days reversible uniforms would be the way to do it. NBA teams all have official reversible practice jerseys. I remember I found a Cal basketball reversible practice jersey at a Nike Outlet store once.

That, and the fact that we aren’t here just for guys to ogle us.
