What the CM told me this morning

that we could select FPs 90 days as it is changing from 60?
Anyone else hear this?:surfweb:

Priority Seating/ADRs went from 30 days to 60 days to 90 days to 180 days to 180+10 days. And so it begins. If the message behind FP+ is to "lock it in", it seems to make sense to push this as far back in time as is feasible, as repugnant as that seems to me. "Feasible" probably coincides with the release of park hours and EMH schedules.

I love your choice of words. And I agree with it, planning rides 60 days out is bad enough...

My MDE must be broken, lol. Now it only let's me do FP+ for 30 days (I guess because of my AP) but I also have a reservation at pop on 63 days so I hope I can start making my choices in 3 days as planned!

Just yesterday I received literature re: our upcoming trip and it clearly said 60days out for FP+ ressies

I was on the phone with a CM this morning who reminded me about making FP+ choices 60 days in advance. She even gave me the exact date (lol, like I didn't already know)!

We also received notice that we would be able to schedule/reserve FP+ 60 days out.
And I'll say the same thing about 90 or 180 that I said about 60. We're just not going to do it.
When we get to FL, we'll plan our days based on the weather, the crowd predictions (to a certain point) and the day of the week, based on our experience previously.
If necessary we'll park hop -- yes we have park hopper tickets. No, we aren't going to do FP+. We'll do what we can with crowds, time, energy.
I'll be blessed if I'm going to try to figure out what we'll want to do that far away.
As George Burns used to joke, I don't even buy green bananas any more.
Just kidding. We aren't THAT old.
:lmao:

Just checked online... MDE still shows that I have to wait for the 60 day mark for our upcoming trip.

What cast member and where? they often have no idea what they're talking about.

I got my answer too. Looks like my window will open in 3 days as planned. YAY!! So excited :)
It makes sense that AP's have a 30 day window. At least it keeps people from making ressies they maybe won't use. I thought the same thing about the ADR's before they required a credit card. People were going nuts making ressies with no penalty for not showing up. Last year in May the park was really not crowded but there were no ADR's to be had anywhere. Now at least it's a little better.

Folks....go back and look at the OP. It says that "it is changing..." It doesn't say when. It is possible that the CM is wrong. It is also possible that the CM is referring to something that may take effect in October. But checking your own MDE today isn't going to prove or disprove anything. As of right now, it is 60 days, and we have the word of an unidentified CM (who could be a bus driver who thinks that the monorail was supposed to run through the Dolphin Hotel) that it is changing. Don't fret.

I am an AP holder and have an on-site reservation in May and my window just went down to 30 days...

I have an onsite reservation for late May and it's showing I can make them in about a week, which would be 60...

I just called Disney and the CM couldn't figure out why mine is not showing as 60. Her advice was to try tomorrow since tomorrow is my 60 days. It was showing 60 days out on Monday and now only 30.

I just checked again and you're right! Now it's 30.....I wonder if it's just another glitch in the system....

If your 60 days is tomorrow I would definitely try and call them if you have problems..

They can't say it's 60 and then have guests log on to only see it's 30...
