What Terminal is Wish at Port C And where are off ship elec scooter at terminal for customers

Thanks for that info. Now to find out where I can pick up my scooter once I get there. I have seen stories where they are left in the cabin, but how is that good if you need it to walk all the way through the terminal to the cabin and cannot get in the cabin until twoish.

I would suggest posing that question on the Disney Cruise Lines section on this forum. I'm pretty sure some guests have already experienced this and will give you a qualified answer. Enjoy your cruise!

It depends on your sailing date. It’s changing this Fall > next Summer

Then it will be Terminal 10.

Disney Wish sailings beginning November 15, 2024 and through June 2, 2025 (except the December 30, 2024 sailing) will embark and debark from Cruise Terminal #10.

Disney Wish sailings through November 8, 2024 will embark and debark from Cruise Terminal #8. Disney Wish sailings on November 11, 2024 and December 30, 2024 only will embark from Cruise Terminal #8 and debark from Cruise Terminal #10. Please note: Some GPS systems do not recognize “Port Canaveral” as a city.

I thought there were loaner wheelchairs for embarkation?
There are. However, there are those of us that do not have family members able to push us in these wheelchairs. Having the scooters delivered at the drop off location or parking garage would be very helpful. I actually had to modify certain things at the beginning of my trip to accommodate this issue by getting a scooter that I can actually lift into the back of the SUV we are renting. I planned on having one delivered to the port but it is useless if it is in the room waiting on me and I cannot walk easily from the garage, through the port, onto the ship and wait until I am able to access the room. Now I will have the scooter with me from the start.

I understand the ups and downs of solo travel. I guess leaving the scooter in the cabin means the rental company doesn’t need staff at the Port. Same thing happens to me when having surgery - they think everyone has family caregivers at home.

I do.

But he’s a cat.

Glad you figured it out and hope you have a relaxing cruise.

The issue is also the Port and the CL. NCL for example has a prefferd deal with Scoot-A-Round. Special Needs at Sea has a Port rental kiosk in Seattle at Pier 91, but not 66. Most will also drop off at a hotel the night before ($50 extra charge) as long as you can get it to the ship and most CL will load them on the bus since they normally fit in the luggage bay. So there are a lot of variations.

We were given a choice between having it delivered to the port or the ship.

We are renting a car so I will be going to Walker Mobility and renting one of their scooters that comes apart and can be put into the back of the SUV that we will be renting. That way I will have it at Disney World, Cocoa Beach, the cruise, and Clearwater Beach.

For future reference, which company?
I know that Scootaround and Special Needs at Sea both deliver to the port and I believe it can be waiting in your room for you. But you have to have a room large enough to accommodate it or it has to be stored someplace else on the ship and cruise cast members have to retrieve the scooter for you every time you need it.

I believe you are supposed to have another member of your party bring it there and retrieve it. I would not rely on having a CM do this.

That's what I would've thought but I've had several people tell me that cast members have to go get it. I guess it makes more sense for your own family to go get it.

Which ship? Unless it's a recent change, the ECV storage locations are public (even the DCL website refers to "designated public storage"). On the Magic and Wonder it is on deck 6 near the elevators; on the Dream and Fantasy it's on deck 2 near Enchanted Garden. I'm not sure where on the Wish. There may even be some larger strollers stored there, as well as several ECVs.
