What summer month?

Trying to coordinate a cruise/disney trip and summer is the best time for school/work schedules to do an extended trip of 10 days total. Which would be better end of June but hitting WDW 1st week o July or last week of July with WDW first of August. Opinions and experience please.

If you can deal with the August heat (which really isn't that much worse than July) then I would suggest August. The crowds will be bad that first week in July due to the 4th and although crowds can be bad in August too they usually aren't quite as bad.

Agree....have done July4th week before and will not do it again. It's going to be really hot either time but crowds will be lower the later date.

We will be at WDW August 3-6 and so far I'm surprised at how easy it is to get everything I want. I reserved a LM room back in January ans since then I was able to book ADRs for early CRT breakfast (8:05am), BOG dinner (that I later canceled), Ohana's dinner and yesterday I even booked the Tomorrowland Dessert Party. I hope it's a sign that the crowds won't be too bad that week!!!
