We are planning a cruise for next summer and tossing around pros and cons of various stateroom categories.

What category do you usually try to reserve??

Thanks!
Karen

1998 room 8102

September 13-20 2003, room 8602

Looking forward to the room.

We done reg verandah, navigator verandah, porthole and inside. Would do all again except for inside. ( Need sunlight as incentive for getting out of bed )

As my tag says...have veranda will cruise.

We prefer the Navigator Veranda.

1999 - Cat 11
2001 - Cat 6
2003 - Cat 3
Xmas 2004 - Cat 6

We enjoy having the Veranda.

jlrose: We had suite 8102 last year. Great room, huh? :)

We really enjoyed it, and have decided that it is definitely worth the extra $$ for the cat 3's or higher. We will be in a cat 4 on the Wonder this year, but being only a 4 day "party cruise", I think it will be ok. We have another cat 3 suite for the Magic for the week following that cruise, and we are booked in a cat 2 for next fall!

There ain't no goin' back! ;)

We booked at Cat 3 for our first cruise because we wanted some of the amenities that come with it--a whirlpool tub, seperate and private sleeping space for DH and I, the larger verandah, and a second bathroom.

We love the cabin so much that we booked the same one for our next two cruises.

The one thing I wish is that they'd offer concierge service with some of the Cat4's. When it's just DH and I traveling, we don't really need all the extra space (although that whirlpool tub is still nice :) ) but would still like to be able to get the concierge service, and related amenities, that type of thing. We can't be the only couple who feels this way...

1st cruise we had Cat 10. 2nd cruise DH surprised me and upgraded our Cat 11 to Cat 7. DCL upgraded to Cat 4. For the $$$ I'd go with the inside. Verandah was ok, but I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

Insides are nice for sea days if you really want to sleep in. They have just as much room as the 5-7.

A cat 4. My Dw and I love the extra room in a cat 4 . Future plans are for a back to back in a cat 4.

Just voted and looked at the results. We're in good company with 80+% prefering an outside stateromm with verandah. This will definitely be the way to go for us in the future.

One Cat. 5 and three Cat. 6's.I would love to try a Cat. 3 but DVC won't let me book one and DCL won't let DVC upgrade to one with cash.. oh well I will spend my money on jewelry instead.

Okay, I'm taking a different opinion, don't hate...... But I'm fine with category 11 inside. I don't care if they put me in the broom closet, as long as I'm ON THE BOAT. For the price diffence I could take the cruise 2 or 3 times in an inside room rather than once in a suite. Don't get me wrong, if you have the means and money isn't an issue, go for it. I'm sure it's better. HAPPY SAILING!!!!!

Oct 19 4 day Wonder will be my 4th Disney cruise in a Cat 11 (2 4-day and 1 western previously). They've all been Deck 7 aft (not far from the little deck at the back of the ship).

I agree with you.

We have a cat 10 (SPR) for our upcoming cruise.
