what specific meal did you enjoy at one of the following...

We've eaten at the Coral Reef: I had the Mahi Mahi & the Chocolate Wave and Dh had the Steak & Butterscotch Creme Brulee. All of it was very good.

At Teppan Edo we liked the Edamame, Sirloin and Scallops.

We've only eaten at Chefs once several years ago. It wasn't our favorite meal. I don't really remember too much about it.

We love 50's PT. The Pot roast is very good and the Smores are wonderful. You can't beat the shakes. DH had the Fried Chicken & Fruit Cobbler and liked them. This is one of our must do restaurants. The servers are so much fun.

We've never done MM. Just thinking about it makes me want to look at food porn.:rotfl:

Coral Reef - a special of the day, sorry don't remember the name but it was a blackened fish of some kind in pasta with white sauce - it was amazing!!
Teppan Edo - never been, sorry
Mama Melrose - the flatbread pizza
50s Prime Time - Fried Chicken - so yummy!!

Chefs: short ribs, profiteroles!

Coral Reef: Mahi Mahi, steak, chocolate wave

Teppan Edo: filet

Mama Melrose: goat cheese ravioli, calamari (app)

50's Prime Time: fried chicken, chicken pot pie, meatloaf, brownie sundae, s'mores

We had Coral Reef and 50's PT adr's last week. We were seated right next to the aquariums at Coral Reef within 5 minutes of our adr time. We were having lunch there and DH and I both got ceaser salads (one shrimp, one chicken). They were both good, but a little heavy on the dressing. Our waiter was decent. He hovered over our table a bit too much, but otherwise was friendly and prompt. We skipped dessert and got something from the new caramel shop instead. :)

50's PT was another story. Took over 30 minutes past our adrs to get seated. Our waitress was painfully slow. Seriously took us 20 minutes to even get drinks. (And they were just sodas, not shakes!). Got onion rings for an app and they were really greasy and nothing special. I got the pot roast for my entree and thought it was WAY too salty. DH got the chicken and liked it. I tried it and thought it was decent. We had planned on getting a shake to share for dessert but were too full. I honestly doubt we'll ever go back. :confused3

I've only eaten at Coral Reef - I enjoyed the steak and the salmon on another occasion. I also LOVED the mussels appetizer and the gelati dessert and the creme brulee. Ended up changing an adr while we were there last trip to eat at Coral Reef again, but the second time the server was awful, but the food was still way yummy.

At Prime Time the pot roast has consistently been very good. Not fatty and very tender. We have eaten there twice and that has been what I got both times. At Coral Reef I get the NY Strip and it is very good. I am not a seafood person. For dessert I got the creme brulee it was delicious.

At Chef's my daughter and I ate the lunch special with onion soup, salad, and toasted cheese and my had the quiche. It was all delicious. I don't remember which desserts we had but they were all wonderful!

At Teppen Edo I ate the shrimp and it was also wonderful. My mom had the steak and loved it and my daughter had the shrimp and chicken. We weren't crazy about any of the desserts. But really like the restaurant.

At Mama Melrose's my mom had the chicken parmesean, and my daughter and I had the noodles in white sauce with shrimp....delicious!!!

We haven't eaten at Coral Reef but we are trying it this July.

- At Chefs we really like the lunch so when we go I like the hot ham and cheese sandwich, I also like the french onion soup for app, then for dessert I really liked the puffed pastries with ice cream and chocolate sauce (forgot the name)

- At Coral Reef the Mahi Mahi is really good

- Teppan Edo DH and I both like the sirloin

- Mama Melrose I have had the 5 cheese flatbread which was really good and DH had the Chicken Parm which was outstanding....guess what I am going to get when we go in May :goodvibes

-At 50's I really like the Fried Chicken and DH loves the pot roast. For dessert I love the S'mores....

When we are there in May we are doing every one of these restaurants except for Teppan Edo. Mmmmm can't wait

Chefs - never been
Coral Reef - sea and land, mahi mahi, chocolate wave
Teppan Edo - filet, shrimp
mama melrose - never been
50 p-time - onion rings, fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, brownie sundae, smores

Chef's - Short Ribs and the best Lobster Bisque I've eaten in a VERY long time!!!

50's Primetime - Pot Roast and Onion Rings

Chefs - prefer lunch, love the quiche and salad. For dinner I could make a meal out of the bacon and onion flatbread and a side salad

Coral Reefe - I enjoyed my grouper and risotto although it was a bit salty

Teppan Edo - DH loves all hibachi places, he usually gets the steak and shrimp. I dont like TE not because of the food but because of the lack of fried rice, soup and salad and combo plates I can get locally, and for alot less money

mama melrose - my fave is the seasonal salad with pears and walnuts and gorgonzola cheese...the pasta and shrimp dish is fantastic

50 p-time - always get the fried chicken, white meat only

Hmm...

Never been to Chefs. Our reservation was too early so we cancelled it. But I really want to go there on the next trip. I heard the lobster bisque and mac and cheese are really good.

Coral Reef... I don't remember. Maybe I got steak?

I've never been to Teppan Edo but I want to go there because i LOVE japanese restaurants :) I would get steak and shrimp.

I went to mama melrose and my brother still talks fondly of it. The food was good... and I think I got chicken parm.

And 50's Prime time is a long time favorite. I always get Fried Chicken with green beans substitute for the greens and mashed potatoes. And either s'mores or brownie sundae for dessert.

Chefs-Prefer lunch to Dinner, love the French Onion Soup, Cheese Plate, the Charcuterie Plate (Pate, salami etc.) and the Mac & Cheese (Fantastic) Dinner is blech!

Coral Reef-Grilled Mahi Mahi, it's always been cooked perfectly but I haven't eaten there in 2 years.

Teppan Edo-Standard Japanese Hibachi just like home just less choices- Stir Fried Shrimp and steak, good and fun show when you're with a group!

mama melrose- not a fan

50 p-time- Always go in with the idea of eating something new and I still always get the Pot Roast which I love, my son however is hooked on the fried chicken.

Chefs - I prefer lunch and always get the prix fixe meal. My favorite is probably the croque monsieur, although I enjoy the quiche and the macaroni also. Always get the french onion soup and the profiteroles. Lunch at Chefs is one of my favorite on property.

50's - I really really like the grilled tuna casserole. It's not actually tuna casserole, it's more of a pasta with veggies in white sauce topped with breadcrumbs and a grilled tuna steak, but it's yummy. Oh, and don't pass up a PB&J shake.

I don't particularly care for the other three, and I've definitely never had anything I enjoyed enough to bother mentioning.

I had the fried chicken dinner at 50's PT. It was very good, really some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. It came with mashed potatoes w/gravy and greens, I think collard greens but I'm not sure. I didn't care for the potatoes because they had peel in them but the greens were tasty.

Chefs -Steak
Coral Reefe -Steak
Teppan Edo- Steak/shrimp
mama melrose- Shrimp Diablo
50 p-time -Pot Roast

Teppan Edo: haven't tried this place yet.....hopefully soon :yay:
mama melrose: Calamari(app) and Chicken flatbread were my faves.....Chicken parm for dh
