I always collect charms for my bracelet, my son (when he was younger) used to collect the Disney cars, we always used to get some cool in DTD like a neat sign with my sons name etc.

what are your must haves ?

My kids always get a pair of pj's :yay: Since they wear pajamas every night of the year, they end up wearing them often. Every time they wear them, memories are brought up & conversations take place about our trip. It's funny because years ago they picked out pjs with pants. When they got too short, my kids wanted them shortened to shorts, just so they could keep wearing them.

Last time we went to WDW, Daddy actually got a pair of pjs (boxers) too - the kids especially loved that!!! :)

I like the idea of a Christmas ornament that you can have dated, maybe with your family's name on it.

A coffee cup, a Christmas ornament, Rice Krispie treats, a stuffed Mickey and last time and hopefully this time a Dooney Purse! My son has to get monorail stuff.

I like the idea of a Christmas ornament that you can have dated, maybe with your family's name on it.

In addition to pajamas, an ornament is MY souvenir :) We usually go to WDW in December, so an ornament is the perfect reminder of our vacations. Thanks for the reminder :)

If I arrive with two children, I have return with two children. They're my souvenir. :rotfl:

When my daighter was little, maybe 3 or so, we bought the big Mickey hand gloves and she wore one all the time in the stroller. All the CMs kept giving her High "4" and she got a lot of attention in the parade. We still bring one back every year, in case the mood strikes.

We get a charm for her bracelet as well, something that relates to that year's trip whenever possible.

I only buy one souvenir every trip: a pin. Normally it's whatever the style the year I'm there is. If I already have that one and we're staying at a resort we've never been to, I get that resort's pin. I've never been past those two deciders, so I've never had to decide on a different kind of pin! haha.

This coming trip though, i've got my sights set on some of that vodka from Norway. I didn't know about it but I've read a few threads about it lately and I'm curious.

My bottle of Leila from the Norway pavilion. I know I can order it online for essentially the same price, but I like having one from Epcot. I think of Disney World every morning when I put it on.:goodvibes

I bought a pewter figurine of the castle someplace on Main St? I think it was? As a thank you to my friend who was watching our pets. That was 2007. Anyone know if they still sell those? That will be my souvenir of choice....they were really pretty and not that expensive.

We buy ears for each person.

And display them in our home.

When I was younger, I remember neighbors always had theirs on display in their home. When I went as a teen, my parents told me it was a foolish purchase, and we didn't get them.

On our trip on 2009, everyone got a set. And again in 2013. This year, we've already got them (and plan to get more there!)

These ideas are all great!!!!

I hope I can find the pewter castle - that sounds neat. We get christmas ornaments on every single vacation (WDW or not) and my husband and I now have a small tree in our bedroom that just has our vacation ornaments. It makes me so happy each December when I decorate our "vacation tree" b/c every ornament has a happy memory! (All the way back to our honeymoon!)

do they have any sort of things you can bring home for your pets? Where?

They used to have pet items, but I haven't seen any in the last few years. The only thing that they did have was a machine that would print out a pet (dogtag) that was on the second floor of the land pavilion by the Garden Grill.

We get ornaments every time and love the unique Ear ornaments that are numbered editions.

I always have to get a dated ornament. It's a yearly reminder of our trips when we decorate the tree! I try to get a different kind of ornament each trip so that they don't always look the same.

We went for the first time last year and both kids (and myself) picked out an ordainment. It was great to pull them out at Christmas and put them on the tree. My husband also got a mug from the resort. So it gets used everyday and reminds us of the fun we had.

We are hoping to go back again next year and will probably get ordainment again :cheer2:

My son also decided he wanted to get Pins on the last day of our trip :scratchin
So he says he wants more to add to his collection next time. He does not want to trade away what he has LOL
