what are some neat/popular souveniers. I was thinking of the mickey mouse ear hats. Are they different types are all standard? What is the price range? Is it more expensive to buy souveniers at the parks or in downtown disney (we do not have a car so we would not be able to leave the area).

we leave this saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hourglass

Well a kids (my kids are 5 and 6) t-shirt will run you about $18 a peice.. And those are the basic Disney 2006 t-shirts. I dont care though.. every yr we go i have to get us the same one to wear home on the plane. My dad laughs because he picks us up at the airport and cant miss. And i use to laugh at the people that did this.. One yr. i even had t-shirts with the family name of them.. ha ha. us. :wave2: :wave2:

Hi!

We get t-shirts for the year(2006), annual photo-album, and a new disney shot glass for my ds. Oh, and the Mickey Mouse statue holding the year script in his hands.

Every time we go to the world, I buy beach towels, and I think I bought 3 on the disney cruise. I also have a thing for Frig Magnets, I seem to come home with 2 or 3 of them a trip. I love the last one we got its the monarail, push the button and tells you to stay clear of the doors. :cool1:

I buy a few pins, AP, DVC, any holiday pins from our time of visit, and one from wherever we stay. We also go to the Disney outlet and see if there's anything we like there.

t shirts,(18 to 22) pvc characters (2.00 to 3.25), plush characters (8.00-12.00), cds of park music(wishes is my fav)(19.00), dvd of parks (24.00), automobiles (5.00), kitchen stuff (10.00), photopass(100.00), photo album(25.00), photoframe (8.00-20.00), magnets for fridge (4.00), antenna topper, (5.00)hats(8.00-25.00)

I buy coffee mugs! I've got a pretty big collection now, just last trip I brought home six of them! I like them because they are something I use everyday and nice Disney reminder. Mugs run $8.99 to about $15 (for the big ones)

They also have really cute character shaped pens that are nice. I stick them in my pencil cups at home and at work. I think the tall character shaped pens are $4 or $5 each.

Another thing I love are the Mickey Tourist beanies. The tourist Mickeys are so cute, they have on a hat, and their t-shirt and little bag have the logo for that year on it a nice little pin on the foot. They run $12-$14.

Pins are nice too, but don't get me started on those! LOL!

i use to buy a lot of the photopass photos..now I just by the CD.....and a few picture frames and a few watches..and once in awhile one or two other things. I usually spend aroun $200 in souvies.....i am trying to stay around 150 this next trip..yeah right the photo CD is 100.....

Pins, Mickey ears, stuffed characters, antenna toppers, charms for a necklace, Mr. Potato Head parts, stuff for the house, t-shirts, collector pieces, and more have all found their way to our home from Mickey's. I love Disney stuff! Maggie

:sunny: We pick up many things - from T-shirts to baseball caps(for me), to magnets. Recently we started to pick up glasses and mugs. But our favorite are the pressed pennies - my wife loves to go around looking for different ones. We must have 2 books full of them already! She actually made me empty all my pants, etc to find clean, shiny pennies. She then hand washed each one of them in copper cleaner to clean them completely. :rotfl:

The kids usally get t shirts ($18-25) and a hat. We also get a couple of the stuffed Mikey's etc from the rides ($10-12). Dh usually gets a hat ($25?) and a t-shirt($25ish) I get a T-shirt nightgown ($29ish) sometimes Dh and I get a mug ($8-12) scrapbook with year on it($28) ornament with year on it ($8-12) antenna top ($5).

Shot glasses. I have a huge collection with many disneyworld styles, and they are a perfect, relatively cheap gift ($4-$8) too.

tshirt ($26), photo albums ($20-25), pins ($7 each), christmas ornaments

we always get photos from the rides so we can have a good giggle! :rotfl2:
snowglobes, something from the xmas shop and some cuddly toys! Lots of money tends to go on food!! :rotfl:

My standards are 1/2 zip fleece pullovers, baseball cap, resort mug, a t-shirt or two, and a ton of Christmas ornaments from the resort and parks.
