What sort is this?

My board doesn't seem to be lisiting in order of 'most recent post first' anymore.

Do I need to do something to make it happen? I have to skip around to find the posts I haven't seen yet. Or is there something I'm missing?

The posts are listing in order of most recent post/reply however the new boards give the webmasters and moderators the ability to "stick" a post up at the top so that everyone will see it. These will start with the words "announcement" or "important".
