I'm not a fan of country music at all but this one really does it for me

Every Time Our Eyes Meet,
There Is A Feelin Inside Me
It's Almost More Than I Can Take
Baby When You Touch Me
I Can Feel How Much You Love Me
And It Just Blows Me Away
I've Never Been This Close To Anyone
Or Anything
I Can Hear your Thoughts, I Can See Your Dreams

(Chorus):
I Dunno How You Do What You Do
I'm So In Love With You
It Just Keeps Getting Better
I Wanna Spend The Rest Of My life
With You By My Side
For Ever and Ever
Every Little Thing That You Do
Baby I'm Amazed By You

The Smell Of Your Skin
The Taste of your kiss
The Way You Whisper In The Dark
You're Hair All Around Me
Baby You Surround Me
You Touch Every Place In My Heart
Oh..It Feels Like The First Time, Every Time
I Wanna Spend The Whole Night..In You're Hands

(Chorus):
I Dunno How You Do What You Do
I'm So In Love With You
It Just Keeps Getting Better
I Wanna Spend The Rest Of My life
With You By My Side
For Ever and Ever
Every Little Thing That You Do
Baby I'm Amazed By You

Every Little Thing That You Do
I'm So In Love With You
And It Just Keeps Getting Better
I Wanna Spend The Rest Of My Life
With You By My Side
For Ever And Ever
Every Little Thing That You Do
Every Little Thing That You Do

Baby I'm Amazed By You…

I cry everytime I hear Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi

you are so beautiful by joe cocker
My DH and I had dated in HS.
I moved away and he had broken up with me.
He sent me a tape with his voice and then this song at the very end...
(of course this was AGES ago... 1975)
But the song still makes me smile

There are tons of them for me, I love a good ballad. Some of my favorites are The Dance by Garth Brooks, To Where You Are by Josh Groban, Beauty and the Beast by Angela Lansbury and If by David Gates. Lots more but my very favorite follows:

Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel

When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When you're down and out,
When you're on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
I'll take your part.
When darkness comes
And pain is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

100 Years by Five For Fighting

The lyrics start out with someone being 15, then go through 22, 33, 45, 67, and then 99 years. The music and singing is kind of wistful and makes the listener realize just how fast time goes by.

Now the reason this song REALLY tears my heart out, is because my youngest daughter IS 15, and she is on a dance competition team, and this year they competed in lyrical, dancing to 100 Years. I cannot watch her and NOT cry! In fact, I have a huge lump in my throat just typing this!

The song starts out:

I'm 15 for a moment
caught in between 10 and 20...

the song goes through the years, and the refrain is:

15 there's still time for you
time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish
better than this
when you only got
100 years to live

100 years is very sad.

I also think that Collin Raye's "Love me" is wicked sad. Itt reminds me of my grandparents, and how heartbroken my grandmother was when my grandfather died.

There are tons of songs that make my heart melt. But this was the last one I heard that really melted it. In a good way melt.

"Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" U2

Tough, you think you've got the stuff
You're telling me and anyone
You're hard enough

You don't have to put up a fight
You don't have to always be right
Let me take some of the punches
For you tonight

Listen to me now
I need to let you know
You don't have to go it alone

And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

We fight all the time
You and I...that's alright
We're the same soul
I don't need...I don't need to hear you say
That if we weren't so alike
You'd like me a whole lot more

Listen to me now
I need to let you know
You don't have to go it alone

And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

I know that we don't talk
I'm sick of it all
Can - you - hear - me - when - I -
Sing, you're the reason I sing
You're the reason why the opera is in me...

Where are we now?
I've still got to let you know
A house still doesn't make a home
Don't leave me here alone...

And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you that makes it hard to let go
Sometimes you can't make it on your own
Sometimes you can't make it
The best you can do is to fake it
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

Love, Me by colin Raye
Remember When by Alan Jackson
The Rose by Bette Midler
Unchained Meloday by The Righteous Brothers
Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks

A Song for You by the Temptations
You are so Beautiful by Joe Cocker and Taylor Hicks
Total Eclipse of the Heart
Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers
Everything I Own by Bread

and Landslide by Fleetwood Mac:

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life
I don't know

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too

Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down

If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down.

The last two so remind me of my Dad, I cry everytime I hear them...

So many great songs already listed that I would include on my list but one that is missing is Valentine by Martina McBride

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I’d still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You’re all I need, my love, my valentine

All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You’ve opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly

I’ve dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn’t love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time...
You’re all I need, my love, my valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
’cause all I need is you, my valentine
You’re all I need, my love, my valentine
