Back in the '70s guitars were introduced to our Catholic masses. Forward to 1981, and I'm in Madrid for a year's study. I saw that they had a a singing mass in the local cathedral. I was excited to go to a singing mass. So what I was expecting was totally different than the Gregorian chant that we experienced.
