Don't miss the bakery in France! Or the bakery in Norway! My BIL expects me to bring him some chocolates from Italy, too.

Cheddar Cheese soup in Canada (if it's not too hot outside), Kaki Gori in Japan (the Tempura's good too), Pralinege in France's Bakery... hmm, I'll have to think on the others.

We tried to do this on Mothers Day, though we couldn't eat at every single place, we were ready to hurl.

Canada didn't have a cart or anything at the time, just Le Cellier (table service)
UK: fish and chips was yummy
France: cheese plate at bakery was esp great, though everything is good. They also have crepes at an outside cart but we didn't have tummy room to try it
Morocco: love Tangerine Cafe, split the chicken and lamb platter and it is delish
Mexico: tried the nachos at the Cantina, though they're pretty gross. It's one step below Taco Bell, but they do have churros that are decent
China: tried eggrolls, they were the same as everyplace else =)
Germany: pretzels are great!
Italy: doesn't have a counter or cart, just shops
Japan: were going to have sushi but had no room
Norway: bakery has some great things, we tried the schoolbread but weren't impressed - other things looked much better

We skipped USA because, well, we already live here!

Have fun!

You can get the Cheddar Cheese soup as a take out item.

There's a cart in Italy that's just on the Italian/American "border." It's a coffee and dessert bar, mostly.

thanks for the tips. I had no idea they had chocolate in italy. How did I miss that?
Any other tips would be great.

At China, the Ginger Ice Cream is delish! You can pick that up at c/s for a quick treat. My DS wishes we could find someplace that sells this back home!

In Norway, I enjoy the school bread which is a round sweet bread, filled with custard, frosted and dusted with coconut. I also like their Rice Cream which is a rice pudding topped with strawberry sauce.

Another vote for the school bread in Norway. Also the bakery in France is great!

I love the pretzels in Germany. My bf likes to get a slushy drink from every country. They have a tangerine flavored one in Morocco thats so good!

We love snacking "around the world". Here are our favorites:

France--anything from the bakery, especially the chocolate mousse

Germany--the pretzels are the BEST, Ritter Sport chocolate bars are awesome!

Mexico--churros, ooh, also, I don't know if you can get if for take-out or not, but San Angel Inn has absolutely dreamy rice pudding

Just remeber to take an extra lap around the WS to burn those extra calories! :rotfl: Have a great time! :flower:

I love the bakery at France, the rice cream in Norway, the soft pretzels in Germany and the ices in Japan.

Thanks for all the info. I will deffinately have to make extra laps everywhere I go while we are there. I am finally going to eat dessert and snack around the world.I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Italy: Chocolate gelato

Mexico: Churros

Japan: Kaki gori (I like the strawberry flavor)
