What snacks are on the dining plan?

If you are planning to participate in the Magic Your Way Dining Plan during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival on September 30th - November 13th, you will be able to use a snack coupon to purchase one (1) food item at any kiosk located throughout World Showcase. (Not good for alcohol.) :cheer2:

I can't find any info about this online and a guest services CM couldn't confirm either...

We were there 9/10-9/17 and found we were able to get slush drinks in Epcot at the Cool Wash station outside of test track. The lady there originally said no, but the cost was $2.50 and the $2.50 bag of chips was included, so I asked if she could try anyways, and the card went through. Sometimes the CM's do not know, but the fool proof way is to ask them to TRY it with your card.

Same thing for breakfast at the resorts - every morning my husband and I would share the pancake breakfast platter, get a fruit cup as the "dessert" and a water to take to the park; on our 5th day of doing that, the lady told me (in a loud voice in front of a lot of people) to "take that back - it is not included in your meal plan!" when I advised her that I had done that the previous 4 days, she said "it wont go through" and I said "oh yes it will" and she finally tried it, and rather indignantly, I might add. When it did go through, not even an apology!

Long story short - Try it!

That CM needs to be fired. I'm using the meal plan for first time in Oct. I hope I don't have any problems.

We just got back and they have narrowed down what you can use as a snack. We could get bottled water (only small not large), soda, single serving chips, ice cream bar, rice krispie treats. You could NOT get bigger sodas or waters, no powerade,

We were just there and got the big waters and a powerade, milks, even the chocolate ones, large OJs, etc on the dining plan....this was at PoP food court. Even at the carts we got the larger water.

We went 9/10-16. We had no problems using dining plan. Never would of thought that we would of used so many of our snacks on waters but I sure am glad we had it to use (free I might add). Anytime the heat started to get to us I got a drink (usually water). The only hold up was at MGM. But once the CM told me Dining plan doesn't work at and food carts also selling merchandise (clothing, pins ot whatever)then we didn't have any problems. We always got large waters and only had one park (Animal Kingdom) not allow Power aid as a snack. Till we found the slightly smaller bottle (at the same park) and it was allowed then. We even got a Rootbeer ice (like lemonade ice) you eat it with a spoon. Just ask !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, this sounds like something my children would love, too.

Tell us where you bought this.

Mary
Were do you get the Rootbeer ice? DS would LOVE this
It was in Magic Kingdom over by Slash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. At a cart that I really don't believe was there the first day we went to Magic Kingdom. Which makes me think they move stuff around!!! But that was all they sold was 3 choice of the lemonade ice thingys. ::MinnieMo
