what snack can I bring on the plane?

no liquid/cream/gels can be brought through security unless 3oz or less, and in your clear ziplock bag.

you can bring on other snacks or buy the above mentioned items after security.

and yes, rice crispie Mickey bars and gum are perfectly fine to bring through security. ;)

Yes you can pretty much take most snacks and purchase drinks after security. Only beware, if you take any nut items onboard you may be asked not to eat them if there is a person with a nut allergy onboard. That happened to us this October. We used snack credits and bought the cinnamon pecans and almonds and couldn't wait to dive into them and then the announcement came. I could just hear my adult daughter behind us sobbing....:rotfl2: When we were there in Feb (just last month--seems longer) we used our last CS credit and got a cold cut sandwich at the WL food area and brought it onboard and shared. Most flyers do still offer drinks, but you can purchase water & sodas at the shops too.

I will also caution you about bringing the Goofy Candy Company fudge home with you. I had packed a box to bring home and planned to eat some on the plane. When I got through the metal detector I was pulled to the side to have my bag searched. They found the "suspiscious" package and pulled out my box of fudge. They opened the box and asked what the fudge was. I told them it was peanut butter fudge from Disney World (in a box with a Disney sticker holding the top closed). They asked me to take a bite. I took a bite and then the woman disappeared with my box. She came back without the box and told me that my fudge was not permitted on the aircraft unless it was in my packed and checked luggage. Needless to say, I was terribly disappointed. I can live without the fudge, but I am certain they ate it behind the security wall :)

This happened in October very early in the morning with a very short security line. My friends had to wait for me and were baffled about why the fudge would be considered too dangerous to have on the flight. Especially after I at a bite in front of them. Oh well.

 Now that is truly wrong. You know darn well they just wanted it. I've taken fudge through security every time I go (4 times a year) and no one has ever questioned the fudge.

Too bad you didn't have the time. Rather than just the bite, I would have eaten the whole thing right in front of her. That was airline robbery. :goodvibes
