Remember, though, that at 3 in kids' sizes is the same as a 5 in women's sizes. My DD who just turned 12 last week wears a size 4 in kids' and a 6 in women's shoes.
My DD12 wears a 4.5 or 5 in kids. Her uggs are womens 5's. She's been in the same size for the past 2 years. My DD9 wears a 1 or 1.5. She also has been in the same size for a while. I haven't had to buy her new soccer cleats in at least 2 years.
DS, 17, wears a size 15 shoe He is 6'4" (a far cry from the 13", 2lbs he was when he was born 14 weeks early!). I am a mother who definately can relate to needing to buy new shoes every few months. I am praying that DS is through the feet growing thing; he has not needed a new size for 6 months.
