What size card/paper to use?

This may be a dumb question but I am making a 5x7 invite but need size suggestions for the wording card. I want it to appear to be bordered by the frilly paper underneath. What size would you use? or what size will make a good showing?

I would use either a 4 by 6, or 3.5 by 5.5 based on what you need. I would try with a piece of scrap paper of each size and see which one the border looks better on.

I make my cards 4 1/2 x 6.
