What size book?

I thought I might make an album for my sons preschool teacher. She is pregnant with her second child. I want it to be a suprise so I dont want to give it away and ask what she is having. Last time I knew, didnt know herself. I figured I could make a neutral one. Green and yellow would be the major colors. Now I need to decide what size to do. Any suggestions? I normally scrap 12X12 but have done the smaller 8X8 for gifts. Not sure which would be the best

When I do a baby album for someone who doesn't scrap regularly I do an 8 by 8. I think that would be a lovely gift. Anyone I have ever made one for loves it.

I just made a whole 12 x 12 album as a gift and recieved an 8 x8 album from the lovely ladies here. I'd say an 8 x8 for a gift. I think my friend was kinda intimidated by the large size of the 12x12
