What Shows Have You Been In

My disabled DD was invited to particpate in the parade that goes around the theartre in this production! It was great!

DD was in Belle's storybook. She played Belle's dad.

She has also been invited up on to dance on several parades.

Of course proud momma and pappa just beamed.

I was in the Monster Sound thing - my sister, my Dad and I were all picked. My DH and I were in the Superstar Television thing too - we were part of the Cheers segment. My DH also made it to the hot seat on Millionaire.

Superstar TV- I love Lucy

Luau- Dh was chosen to go on stage on our honeymoon(1995). But then they took him back stage while everyone did the hula. Then the lights dimmed and Dh came out in a real grass skirt and did a solo hula with one of the dancers. lol. He even got to keep the skirt, made of big giant palm leaves, it was really heavy. I was laughing so hard i almost fell out of my chair.

Millionaire- My DD, 6 at the time, made it to the hot seat and I went up to help her. We made it to the 125,000 question and guessed wrong.

Back lot tour- My mom and I were chosen for the boat combt scene. My mom was in the one who had all the water dumped on her and I was the captain of the PT boat. lol.

I've also been in the earthquake scene at Universal.

Being in shows is the best! Way better than standing there and watching. It turns the show into a special event instead of just another attraction.

My wife and I were in the Cheers seen at Superstar TV and I was in the Old Alfred Hitchcock show at Universal. I got to pretend I was getting kicked off a carousel while it was spinning.

This last trip I fulfilled my "lifelong dream" of being in Indiana Jones. It was great being down on that huge stage (but I had to pretend I didn't know about the "plant" in our group.)

Even better, though, is watching your kid be in a show. My DD (4 at the time) was picked to sing a song in front of everybody waiting for the Stars & Motorcars parade. She's a complete ham and belted it out. She also opened the Pocohontas show. They asked her to say who she was and where she was from, and she got a huge cheer when she said "I'm Haley and I'm from America."
(Actually, she just forgot the name of our village  )

DS has participated in Monster Sound and DH got drenched in the Back Lot Tour as the ship's engineer. Now that DS is older, DH and I visit on our own. On our most recent trip, we were selected to be Grand Marshals in the MK parade...I actually felt guilty that DS wasn't with us to participate!

My DH were in the Indiana Jones show three years ago on our honeymoon. Loved it!! Just gpt back last night and we were in the Backlot tour show - I was the one who got hit with the ton of water!! LOved that too!!
