What shows are worth watching?

We are here now! We loved Mickey and the Magical Map. If you have a toddler/preschooler the Disney Junior Live stage show is awesome for them. We have seen it two times so far this trip because my DS is a major Disney Junior fan. We also loved WOC. We did the dining package for lunch and were right up front in the preferred viewing area. It was amazing. We watched the fireworks tonight. We chose to stand back pretty far away from the castle and closer to the start of Main Street because we were leaving right after. It was still a great view. We are going to see Aladdin tomorrow. My DS loved the Maleficent preview that's playing right now. We did watch Muppetvision show. I'd seen it several times in Walt Disney World. I still enjoy it but it could really use an update.

How do you locate a super thread? We had yellow FPs and showed up about 10 mins early and I thought we had a great spot. We're heading back with more family in December and watching WOC is a big part of what I want them to experience. I guess I shouldn't leave it to "dumb luck" again!

They are in the sticky thread of Newbie info at the top of the forum.

Man, after reading this thread, I'm ashamed of my trip to DL in November. It was all about the rides, fireworks, and WOC. We were thinking of doing Alladin but missed it. Sounds like that was a mistake. And my girls would love Fantasy Faire which I didn't know existed. Maybe I saw it and just was too interested in getting to the next ride.

I feel like I'm the only person around who didn't care for Aladdin. I mean, the theater is beautiful, but it was too slapstick for my taste. I was expecting something more dramatic. WOC was the highlight of our last trip, it was amazing! We did get the WOC dinner, which many say is not necessary, but I'm glad we did. My husband had suffered a heart attack the month before, and I have two autistic children, so I figured we needed all the help we could get! We had perfect spots in July and waited under an hour.

What time are the Tangled and Beauty and the Beast Shows? Are they inside? Air conditioned?
My 11 year old DD loved these cute little shows .. . I enjoyed, them, too! They are in a covered, partially enclosed little theater near Fantasy Faire. We walked right into one at the very last second in May when we happened by, but most of the time I would say get there ~ 10 minutes or so early. I wished Mickey and the Magical Map had been playing during our trip. All the shows the others are saying I love as well. And make sure not to miss Turtle Talk with Crush in DCA--it is ongoing every 30 minutes and hysterical. The little Musical Chairs with Alice and the Mat Hatter is SO fun as well--we laughed ourselves silly.
