My dh watches Trick my Truck...I just can't see a bunch of guys completely overhauling someone else's 18 wheeler ( from the ground up) for FREE

It WAS Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, then I watched season 1 of each, and now we are both hooked! Battlestar Gallactia too we both watch now.

I think we're the only ones in America who don't watch American Idol, Americas Got Talent or any of those other reality shows.

Different shows for different kinds of people

HA! You're not alone! I don't watch any of those shows either. The only reality show I'm hooked on is Bridezillas. DH DOES hate that one, though.

Sports. And if they aren't in Hi-Def he will complain. Then he loves Modern Marvels. Now, some are interesting, a majority are not. He also watches the History Channel. He will sometimes agree and watch something I like. After a minute of it, he will channel surf to see if it's being shown in Hi-Def. If it isn't, he will complain. Like I have any control over it.

DH favorite shows are C Span and C Span II and now he is starting to watch Myth Busters and Dirty Jobs with one of the ds.

Sports Sports and more Sports. Ugh it is almost time for football season. Saturday is college and Sunday is pro.

All the poker tournaments on t.v..

We watch nothing together.

I do have to defend Deadliest Catch - it's actually quite exciting and fascinating. It's about the deadliest profession on earth, crab fishing in Alaska, and they just finished the second season.

DH and I actually watch a lot of the same stuff, except the SG-1 stuff mentioned in my first reply. I've even gotten him hooked on some things I NEVER thought he'd watch (Real Housewives of Orange County)!

My DH searches out anything that is about bigfoot. And he TIVO's them and watches them over and over.

If I ask him to TIVO a movie for my son from Disney channel or something, he gets all in a tizzy because he has to delete a bigfoot show.

(Ok, someone now please bury this thread before he reads and realizes I have disclosed his secret. )

My DH watches GAC (that country music video station). I like country music, but he watches it all the time. What's the appeal of watching music?! We'll be riding in the car and he'll say, "You should see the video to this song!" Why?

He'll also watch anything to do with the military. He's been out for 4 years. It's time to move on with life. My best friend's DH is the same way. For some reason, reliving the days of being shot at and sleeping on top of Humvees makes them happy. Me and my best friend just sit there and . Everything brings up a reference to their military days. "You think THAT'S bad. THAT is NOTHING compared to what I had to endure when I....(fill in some memory)!"

Then, they have to criticize everything they see - as if they know better than the documentary on the History Channel.

HGTV if he watches anything. He's usually too busy. This weekend we watched the first season of Monk because our son got it for his birthday.

Mine loves the poker shows and some of the cooking shows but mostly he flips channels. It drives me nuts.
