Hi,

This is my first thread that I've started on the boards.

We are off to F&W in October and then planning a trip in April 2009.

What are your recommendations of restaurants, TS and CS to try?

We have eaten at the following on our previous trips:
Sci-Fi, Mama Melrose's, CRT, Chef Mickey, H&V, Cali Grill, Cosmic Rays, Ohana, CP, Marrakesh, Coral Reef, and Biergarten.I think that's everything. We are also eating at Cape May in October (didn't make many reservations due to F&W).

We have thought of trying Narcoosees and Boma. We hope to stay at either VWL or AKV.

Thanks for your help!popcorn::

Where else would you recommend?

I would definitely suggest trying Boma (since you mentioned that as a possibility :goodvibes). The food is great and there is plenty of variety for any taste. Another suggestion (that is one of our favorites) is Kona Cafe at the Poly.....awesome prime rib and filet :).

We are trying three new ones this year: Boma, Whispering Canyon and Yak & Yeti. I didn't see LeCellier on your list or Rose & Crown. Also, Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom is good. For counter service, I suggest Columbia Harbour House at MK, Flame Tree Barbecue at AK and Sunshine Seasons at Epcot (sorry, we don't like any of them at the Studios).

I must welcome a fellow member from Red Sox Nation!

I agree about trying Kona Cafe, and Narcoossee's, and you'll like Garden Grill.

We prefer Jiko to Boma (we found Boma to be too loud, and the food was not too our liking).

A few others to try: Liberty Tree Tavern, Garden Grill (characters for the kids), and ESPN.

Sorry, we've eaten at Rose and Crown several times! Love their fish and chips and the Welsh Dragon Drink. We did try Whispering Canyon in December. God, I forgot so many of the restaurants.

I forgot to mention that we have two "very very very picky eaters" that will be with us. One lives on chicken nuggets the other is slowly increasing her variety. She promises to try everything we try at the kiosks at F&W. Oh yeah, we've also eaten at Raglan Road (HATED their fish and chips!!!!).

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Keep 'em coming.

And yes, we would love to try Le Cellier!

Narcoossee's, Citrico's are good they are both 2 tbs.
Prime Time & Tony's , Yak & Yeti ,Japan and Italy 1 tbs
Counter Service
MK- Pecios
HS- Rosie's Caf

I would recommend Chefs De France, Le Cellier, and Tusker House. I much prefer Tusker House to Boma. It has similar types of food, but I found it to be of a better quality with more selections for those who aren't so adventerous. I want to especially recommend Liberty Tree Tavern for families. It has a great atmosphere with characters coming around every few minutes. The food is great and is served family style with options including ham, turkey, beef, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beens, and macaroni and cheese. Everyone I was with had an awesome time and loved the food.
