This is installment #3 of my thread series "What Should We Order at ____?" in advance of our upcoming 12-day celebration.

We are a family of 4, 2 40-something adults and 2 teenagers, all pretty adventurous when it comes to dining. We usually try to order all different things to share, so we can each taste a variety of offerings. Being very appreciative of expert advice here on The DIS, we would love to hear about your favorites at our dining venues. PLEASE chime in with your opinions and experiences, the more, the merrier! Oh, and feel free to suggest any items you think we should avoid, too! Of course, in return, we promise to do a full report, with pics, upon our return!

I should mention, we will not be on the DDP but will be using TiW. Also...I LOVE MARGARITAS!!!! Thanks for your input!

Hi, folks! I'm trying this again. I've asked the same question a few times in different ways, and not one single response. I know at least a few DISers have enjoyed SAI? Please offer your suggestions!

Thanks!

I just went to San Angel yesterday and I loved it!! I mean :lovestruc loved it, I was a bit scared based on reviews I had read but it was great and I am definitely going back. I ordered the Pollo a la Rajas. They were delicious. My MIL got them as well and she really liked it. My DH and one of my DS ordered the Enchiladas Verdes de Pollo except they asked for ground beef instead of chicken which wasn't a problem. My DH really liked his, my DS not so much but he loved the chips and salsa and ate almost all of them. He is 12 and isn't very adventurous when it comes to eating. I ended up eating some of his meal and it was good. I did like what I ordered more. My other DS ordered the steak tacos. I don't see it on the Allears menu and I don't recall what it was called, I think it was tacos de Ribeye. He liked them a lot and ate every bit. I did not try it, he finished them too quickly! Hope that helps.

I always get the Pollo a las Rajas too. It is so good and so different. My husband has tried just about everything on the menu and has liked it all.

I'd suggest ordering whatever y'all feel like at the time you eat there :confused3

Our party shared a few apps and had some fish entrees. Everything was good. Everything looked good and smelled good at the tables nearby.

Order what you feel like!
