Never done a charter flight to Florida before but it seems like it could be the only available way to get there for October half term.

For 2 adults and 2 children what should I expect?
Hidden extras?
Entertainment?
Legroom?
Delays?

Thanks:thumbsup2

weve flown with thomas cook before to sanford, about 4 years ago maybe 5 so before seat back tvs, but i couldnt fault them, they were on time, you had to buy drinks after the firstfree one, but it wasnt that bad.

We flew with them last August, and we can't fault them either. We would definitely use them again.

The seats were comfortable and we were all happy with the legroom. My dad is 6ft and felt that the seats were OK. We also had seatback TVs and the entertainment was good too - it repeated 2 or 3 times during the flight, but I understand that this is what happens on virgin flights too. There was a good choice so we couldt complain.

We had food included and that was also good - but I'm not sure if we paid for that as extra when we purchased the flights.

The only slight downer (but we didnt find it an issue), was to do with luggage allowance. Each person is only allowed 15kg each of hold luggage. You can purchase extra allowance to increase it to 30kg I believe but you have to pay for each person to have this. you can't just add it on for one if you see what I mean. However, this was last summer, so not sure if things are still the same. I was a bit concerned about this, but we did it without any problems and managed to bring lots of stuff back with us - we were a bit overweight with the luggage on returning home but nothing was said to us.

But yeah, we'd definitely fly with them again.

Just remember that you'll be flying into Sanford and not MCO though.

I haven't flown with them, but I have done a bit of research lately as there were some really good prices for next August.

From what I have read, mainly on the DIBB, some planes are good and some are bad. The bad having no seat back entertainment and only 29inch seat pitch. The good planes, have 33 inch seat pitch and seat back entertainment.

They also seem to change planes at the drop of hat, so you can't always be certain on which plane you will be on. So I decided not to book, as I want seat back entertainment.
