We will arrive at DL on Saturday May 9 around 12 or 12:30. What should we do when we get there based on what the crowds will be like on a Saturday at that time of day.

I need help from DL vets on this.

Well you might be able to grab a couple fast passes for later :)
Have a nice lunch if you PS somewhere. Or Pizza port is pretty fast, kind of cafeteria style; but good with many seats.
And stake out your spot for the celebrate street party :thumbsup2

Also take in Alladin , play house disney, and so much more. I saw go to the park and have fun!!

Good question! Our flight lands around 10am on Saturday the 9th so I am really hoping we are at the park by 1pm or 2pm.

One thing we want to do is the Canoes and I believe they only operate them on the weekends during the *slow* season.

The canoes also close around the same time as TSI (and are extremely weather-dependent, so if it's raining or too windy then they won't be operational), so if that's something you want to do, I recommend knocking them out right away.

Some things have pretty reasonable lines anytime of day like the Tiki Room, or POTC or the Haunter Mansion or Pooh. You can also head over to DCA and see the Aladdin show and check out the animation building. Grab a few fast-passes and some something to eat while you are at it.

I agree... I don't think i have ever waited more then 15 minutes for HM or POTC. Tiki room always has seats, the most you wait is like 20 minutes until the next show starts. I've never ridden Pooh though. I'll be changing that in june. :cool1:

I have the same problem the day we fly in. I think we're going to spend the day walking around the park and checking things out. Then when we start the next day we'll have a good idea where we are going. :)

Crowds will be fairly heavy by that time on a Sat. Not sure if you are traveling with kids either because that would change things... Your best bet for small crowds would be to head to DCA. But, I like to go to DL my first day regardless of crowds. So, unless you only have 2 days, if it were me, I'd hit DL, grab some FP's and try to ride some of the less busy rides. Maybe something like this:

FP for Indy
Pirates
haunted mansion
maybe jungle cruise if lines aren't more than 15-20 min
winnie the pooh (and grab a cookie from the store back there :yay:).
FP for BTMRR
Tiki room
Maybe Buzz if lines aren't long
watch the parade
Ride Indy
Ride BTMRR
If you're up for staying late maybe check out some fantasy land rides but this whole area can easily be done in an hour or so first thing in the morning. Some rides are just fun to ride at night though.
