Hi all!
We booked MYW+Dining through AAA...we used an agent in our state as we could never get a hold of the Diser-recommended ones.
She's been very nice and seems to have somewhat of an idea about Disney, but we've read a few things on various sites about what we should get with AAA, and we've gotten almost nothing.
We got a brief confirmation letter, the tips brochure, and a photo copy of the dining plan info (we requested info, hoping they'd have a nice brochure for reference).
She said we won't get the rest until 3 weeks before we leave, but what should we expect to get?

Also, have you gotten a confirmation/welcome thing from Disney when you've booked through AAA? We've always booked through Disney in the past and wondered if we'd get the same stuff.

Also, when you've given room requests to AAA, do you call CRO and confirm with Disney? We have medical requests for non-smoking & not too far from the main building, and a safety request for not first floor (we're all women; it's always been honored and usually looked upon as pretty smart :thumbsup2)

TIA!

Hi there!

Come 3 weeks out you should get the same paperwork that Disney would send you. I have never used AAA so I don't know for sure, but you should get exactly what Disney would send you.

Sorry you couldn't get a hold of another Travel Agent you were looking to get a hold of. Hopefully you will have good luck with your AAA travel agent.

Have A Magical Day!

Last time we went through AAA they booked our room for the wrong month. All of our paperwork said July but the official paperwork from Disney said June. AAA never sent me anything from Disney. That said, we decided to try AAA one more time because of the savings. We have a different agent this time and she is wonderful. Calls me to make sure that I have throught about dining reservations, Reminds me of dates, and yesterday called me to tell me that they have the official paperwork from Disney in and made an appointment for me to come in and discuss everything with her to make sure everything was okay. I feel much better about this trip.

Go with your gut instincts. If you don't like your AAA rep--ask for another. I'm sure that they will help you out to keep your business.

My fantastic AAA rep is in Evansville, IN office. 1-812-477-9966 Ext 203 or toll free 1-800-851-0222 Her name is Ruby Goldberg. Good Luck!!

Ok, what you should get is a AAA confirmation letter shortly after you book. The WDW paperwork and the extra AAA stuff. We have always put in multiply requests and usally get most if not all of them. We also need a handicapped room and that is always gaurenteed.
