what should my next tattoo be?

I turn 50 in 2 weeks. To mark the momentous occasion, I would like to get another tattoo. Unfortunately, nothing is striking me as a must have. This is where you all come in. Give me any/all of your ideas of what you think I should get. Likes are Disney, country music, Japanese art and Celtic art. This does not mean that my new tat has to be limited to any of that. I'm single, no kids.

No guarantees that I will use any of the ideas, but I'd like to see what y'all come up with. Pictures welcome but not necessary.

Why don't you do this.

Go in a cool, dark, peaceful room and lay down. close your eyes and just be very still... and without moving *feel* where your tattoo should be.

Once you have located the spot... then focus on it.. and be aware of symbols, shapes, and colors that arise.

That's a good start to the creation of your new body art.

Oh and Have a HaPpPy Birthday... May you be blessed this year and always.

OP, If I ever get up the nerve to get a tattoo!, I want to get a cute little bluebird. All the women in my family have "Bluebird of Happiness" statues that our Great Grandma gave us, and its a family thing that we all enjoy!! We want to get matching tattoos, but like I said, I have to get up the nerve.

Call me stupid, but why is there a Swastika on the elephants paw? Is it some kind of symbol significant outside of the Nazi..uh, religion?

I just got my first tattoo for my 16th birthday on Monday, and I absolutely love it - it's a gold ribbon for childhood cancer. Personally, the next one I want is some kind of cherry blossom branch. Maybe you could look into Japanese Cherry Blossoms? I like the koi fish idea too.

I'm not a tatoo type person, but how about looking at some clip art programs? There's lots of them on the internet (no need to go out and buy programs) and they cover just about every topic/theme/configuration you can think of..

Nope, I'm in Florida! I don't particularly like tattoos.....but then I saw the pawprints. I would consider them!
